New to the forum been lurking for awhile.

From reading about reboots, will it be any good etc... Why are so many slamming the movie when we haven't seen anything yet? Not even a trailer?!

Guess it's jumping to conclusions.

Some didn't like the first movie, Some tought that ROTF was even worse. So they just conclude, that DOTM will be even worse.

Gosh, they could send G1 Powerglide to tell 'em "Not to jump to conclusions."

1. They don't like the movies period.
2. They don't like the movies and they really like to get the fans really ticked off.
3. They were disappointed with Revenge of the Fallen and figure this one will be worse.
4. They are simply jumping to conclusions.
5. They can't find anything better to do.
6. They are just being negative.

Or...a possible combination of several of the above.

Because TF2 was pure garbage. Great effects and some scenes that are awesome in themselves, but with all that, it seems like the rest of the movie was calculated to be as bad as possible. "Just one more mile!" Sam shouts behind him to his three spacious car friends. :BANG_HEAD:

All things considered, though, I'm cautiously optimistic about TF3. If everythin we've heard about Shockwave is true, it can't be all bad. And even if it is, at least we can rest easy knowing Michael Bay isn't directing TF anymore.

When I saw Kill Bill Vol. 2 i didn't like it, but I didn't call it garbage.
Anyway, you're overdoing it. It wasn't the best movie, but it wasn't garbage.

Anyways, i agree with those who say "Dont jump to conclusions". It's Kruger going solo now, so it should be a bit better.

My thoughts exactly. I blame Orci and Kurtzman for most of the suckage in RoTF, and they're not involved with TF3. So it should be better. I just saw The Skeleton Key, a movie writtenn by Ehren Kruger, and I thought it was pretty good. So he's on the good side for now.

And I think your sig is pure WIN. A LOT of people on this site should take that advice to heart.

Wasn't that just after Starscream was shooting at them? They can't give Sam cover fire in alt mode, they'd be sitting ducks.

Anyway I'm optimistic about the next one. It's not going to have to cram production because of a writer's strike or anything like that.

Like, the New Orleans-set voodoo-esque film? I had no idea. I saw like, half of that on cable a couple months ago, not enough to really form an idea, but it seemed pretty alright.

Although I strongly disagree with The Dude's response, and think it should be stated as an opinion, he is still entitled to his opinion whether you like it or not. I think the language and anger should be toned down a bit, but that's just my two cents. Don't kill me, I'm a loyal fan of both movies fan too, Sly.

I don't really see how someone could slam the movie at this point. ROTF wasn't the worst thing I've ever seen. Besides the bad humor and what they did with the Constructicons, I thought it was ok. I am cautiously optimistic for the new movie. I read somewhere that Bay stated there would be less slap stick comedy in this one which is a great start to me. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

On a side note, I live about 15 miles from where The Skeleton Key was filmed

I am cautiously optimistic about this movie. For one thing, being that they got a lot of flack for the last one's 'humour,' maybe they might just tone it down in this one.
Secondly, they have a new writer. Maybe he will know better how to write giant robots? I hope so. If this movie is good, I will strike the second one from my personal canon. :-$
