All things considered, though, I'm cautiously optimistic about TF3. If everythin we've heard about Shockwave is true, it can't be all bad. And even if it is, at least we can rest easy knowing Michael Bay isn't directing TF anymore.

i would like to say well im not a fan of TF2 or anything yea i thought it was ok but not better then TF1 but if it sucked so bad why is it #23 movie of all time? http://boxofficemojo.com/alltime/world/

excuse me #79th lol http://boxofficemojo.com/alltime/adjusted.htm

Not for nothing, but both of those lists have nothing to do with how well the movie's story was, but the money it made. It has ROTF at #79, but The Rocky Horror Picture Show is at #71.

Sir, are you suggesting that RHPS is a worse movie than ROTF? I must protest!

But yeah, I'm with Zombie Starscream on this: "cautiously optimistic." Revenge of the Fallen was terrible, and that's coming from a guy who saw the first movie in theatres 4 times, bought the DVD the day it came out, and got tickets for ROTF well in advance. So I'm not "just being negative." I was excited for ROTF and it sucked. So no, I didn't have high hopes for TF3; if someone thought the second movie sucked, or even both movies, of course they'll expect the third movie to suck as well. But recent news is brightening my spirits a bit. Maybe, hopefully, it will be good after all! At least as good as the first one, which I still love.

I guess we can all agree that ROTF wasn't as good as we expected, but still, it wasn't all that bad.

My opinion...

Loved the first one. Had strong feelings of "dislike" for the second. Am quitely hopeful about the third.

I'm giving Bay the benefit of the doubt and hoping like hell ROTF was some mean ole joke.

Granted, I have some minor concerns for the thrid one, but generally, I'll rant up a storm pro or con once i"ve seen it.
Something memorable here.

In fairness to ROTF, the writer's strike didn't help.

In fairness to the writer's strike, it can't be held responsible for Orci and Kurtzman.

Oh I'm offically hopefull about "Moon" now, like I said before though in another thread, it's for all the wrong reasons. Alot of it has to do with morbid curiosity, like if I can spy with my eye the scene where bumblebee was luv tapped by an officer, if Shia really gets shot by McDreamy, and finally all this news/rumors about Megs being a Truck this go around.....with a cape. A cape made out of a tarp...ha ha ha.

Awwww, wow, yeah I'm going into this bit with the same mindset I had going into "The Warriors Way", or "Machette", or "The Green Hornet"....or any other parody film.

Okay maybe not "Green Hornet", doesn't belong in the same elevated class as the later two mentioned films. Heh.
