Why don't I have a weapon?

Weapon:
Triple Crusher Cannon
i just started and i pick the triple barrel cannon or whatever, but its saying i don't have a weapon at all and i lost my first arena battle because of it. what am i supposed to do?

Did you equip the weapon?
- If you go to the chars page, you'll get a drop-down menu with the weapons available for the actual char
