seeing how DOTM has 4 main villians (Megs, Soundwave, Shockwave and Starscream), will it suffer the same overcrowded feeling that Spiderman 3 did?, all four of these cons are fan favorites so someones gonna be dissapointed in their cons half done screen time, who's it gonna be?.

I doubt the film will suffer due to the number of main villains. You gotta keep in mind while Spiderman villains largely work alone, the Decepticons are an organization. Since all four of them are members of said organization it'll probably provide for better characterization than "Oh hai lets u n' me work together but I'll hog all the action."

I agree with Capt. Failure. Transformers has more hope because larger groups of baddies are expected, since it revolves so largely around factions.

I liked the overflow of villains in Spider-man 3.

Please don't be soundwave!He barely had screen time in rotf! He only humped a sattelite. for maybe 5-6 minutes.

Starscream and Soundwave aren't main villains. Not in Bayverse. Starscream is a strong supporting character, much like Ratchet or Ironhide, but that's it. So far only Megatron and the Fallen were main villains. DoTM will have Shockwave and Megatron, it looks like. But who knows maybe Starscream will get a promotion.

And Spider-Man 3 was a piece of ****.

as others have said, they work for the same faction !

And im pretty sure they wont all be leaders.

besides more bot time, less humans can only be good (i hope)

I don't think it will suffer too greatly since we are already quite familiar with Megs, Screamer, and to some extent, Soundwave. It's not like we're getting a bunch of totally new villians.
Of course, there will probably numerous other 'Cons, but they'll probably just be background characters to expand the Decepticon army.

the more the better but somebody has to die.the first two that are probably going to die are starscream and soundwave.

Just hope they tone down the human aspect of the film to give transformers more screen time.

Hate to bust your bubble, but this is the last movie of the current series and unless Hasbro plans on continueing this version of the movieverse then there's a good chance we could see anyone die. It happens in ever series to everyone's favorite characters, so it's nothing to freak out about.

I agree. Megatron and Shockwave are the only main villains. And Spider Man 3 was such a terrible movie. I expect Shockwave to die and possibly Starscream but not Megatron. Maybe is Starscreams dies Soundwave will fill in for him. Can't wait to see what Soundwave will look like too since he is not that worm thing.

Spider-man 3 is another one of those movies where I don't get is so bad about it. I can understand why some people wouldn't like ROTF, but what's so wrong about Spiderman 3? It had Venom, and an emo Spiderman, how is that not cool!?

Another thing: How can he be emo when he never cut himself?

The plot was pretty good in the first two movies. Not the third so it was easier to deal with Tobey in the first two movies.

Maguire wasn't a good Peter Parker. I think James Franco, who played Harry, would have been a good Parker. Or even Topher Grace, who played Eddie Brock. He was nerdy enough, especially after That 70s Show. And Kirsten Dunst wasn't a good Mary Jane. But it really was the plot of the 3rd film that exposed the bad casting. Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina played good villains, as did Franco. Venom was cool, but he was just a small shiny gold nugget in a 2 and 1/2 hour turd.

The plot was pretty good in the first two movies. Not the third so it was easier to deal with Tobey in the first two movies.

Spider-man 1 plot: Kid gets bitten by a spider and a bad guy comes who is also his friend's father

Spider-man 2 plot: Bad guy comes, Spider-man loses his powers, turns into a punk and magically gets powers back.

Spider-man 3 plot: 3 bad guys come one of which is Spider-man's friend. He dies. The rest all have relations to him.

How?

You're omitting the unnecessary stupid parts. Peter going emo, which was the biggest f**k-up in the whole thing, as well as the misdevelopment of Eddie Brock. They went somewhat by the comic story, but there should have been more. Not just Brock willing to give himself up to an alien entity just because Peter got him fired. Lame. They used Sand Man to tie into the first movie, bringing the story of Uncle Ben's death full-circle. That was fine. But compared to the first 2 films, the third was horrible. And the fact that it was so damn long made it even worse. It had the same faults as RoTF and Iron Man 2. All action (which was fun) but a bad story and it was too damn long.

while I can see and agree with the op's concerns, I think this statement here should dispell those worries. The Decepticons are a unit and should be able to work it all out together.
Plus, not trying to be a hater, but if the film suffers for having too many main baddies, I would think that would require character development, and Spiderman 3 was real lacking in that department as far as Venom was concerned. With these films, we're really not having to worry too much about character development taking up too much of the film....if they appear in the same shot togehter and vaguely seem in compliance with each other, that would suffice for a unified plan of action or of underlying characterization. Again, not being a hater, but this is a series where people are declaring Sideswipe their favorite 'character' after his big moment was "Damn, I'm good." I've got two college degrees in English lit and I'm not sure how that counts as character development.
BUT THAT'S NOT MY POINT SO EVERYONE RELAX. I think the bigger thing to remember is that like Capt. Failure says, as much as they dislike each other, they are all on the same team and the movie Cons seem much less splintered than most other Cons in the franchise. I think it should work out alright.

Practically every other post you make is about how you can't understand how a person doesn't like ROTF.....

Sandman being Uncle Ben's real killer bothered me, it negated Peter's whole motivation to become Spider-Man. He let the robber go, and that same person killed his uncle. They changed that into "oops my finger slipped and I killed your uncle." That would be like if Batman's parents were still alive.
