Interesting how that leader is just so much beefier. These Gen Leaders (seekers ect) arent MP class, they are bigger, except for Megatron, which is odd.

I do think the leader Soundwave is superior to the MP in 2 areas:
1. Really nice back for tape deck mode (doesnt make up for poopy front)
2. I LOVE those details on the clear chest.

That's what I'm hearing from you kids. I still don't know how, out of all of the figures I have, that I haven't transformed him!! Still need to find some KFC hands for him, it's like they appear in stock somewhere and then I go to order them and they aren't. Quite annoying.

That would be awesome. Its those small silver folded panels that hang off the top of the legs. The small panels that are used to make the alt mode look cleaner at the front of the handle. There is no friction fo rthem to stay in place in robot mode so they just keep flopping out. You know what I am talking about right? I forget if its both legs though, so I will let you know tonight.

Yeah, is better. My favourite part is the extra leg kibble that folds onto itself to fill that spot at the bottom fo the sides of the alt mode. Its a magical feeling when you get there.

Not really because the legs are just massive. I like how more slender they are on the MP. They remain their blocky selves but look more in proportion with him. And I dont mind that kibble, I actually thought it was part of his actual design since they incorporated into his model kit which I handled before getting the MP:

I do remember that now! I had a similar issue and they replaced mine, I know they sent me one which ended up being the for the wrong leg so I'll see if I can find it for you!

mine is the whole transformation.the fact that it can go from a little box to a giant robot is the coolest thing ever. and he can hold 3 CASSETTES.

I do like the look of TR Soundwave but he has no place in my collection. His chunky arms and legs remind me of the character models used in FFVII.

I do want to pick up blaster but I keep passing. I just need to go ahead and talk myself into it.

MP Soundwave is tops ;)^

A very poseable bot with so many little hidden extras.

While articulation could be better (would it kill anyone to give these toys wrist swivels?!) there is nothing outright wrong with him and he is a really fun and perfect receation of the old toy with way more functionality.

IKR?!? It always feels like such a treat when figures have them now. TR Blurr was such a delight to find them on, shame the rest don't. Such a small thing adds so much poseability. Pfft, on ankle tilts; they're nice but if I had to l choose...

Wrist swivels first, double jointed elbows, then bicep swivel , forearm swivel, waist swivel with legs (same order) and feet/anlkes last. I feel the upper body is where the personality in poses really come from.

I find static feet to stand just as well as swively ones.
