I was thinking of taking the original (KO) and cut it in half to add a bigger middle piece...or something near that just to inflate the chest shield.
Would voyager-size Energon Megatron's wings be too big?

See, that's just reminding me of the stupidly-big Devastator statue that used Energon Galvatron as a chestplate. :p
But that's looking gorgeous so far. I'm looking forward to seeing what you're doing to the individuals, too. Do you plan to make them better homages to the G1 versions?

Thanks Ramrider and nitro
I don't think I'll do much work on the individual cons.
I'll give them a proper G1 style paint job and heads. Not much a want to modify as I'm affraid I may fragilize the combined mode.
As for the chest plate I have no idea if E Megs wings would fit because I don't have the toy. I'll probably make one out of scratch.

Seriously though, you have dropped my jaw once again. Shockingly good work man. When I see this thing finished, I may not recover.
I'm wondering why you didn't use Unicron's arms though? To me they look like they would be more Devastator-like.

Scrapper is finished and painted.
Long Haul is in the paint shop.
Chest shield is ready to be made...Planning is done.
The remaining is as it was in the pics but working on it every night.
Started 1 head but not nearly finished.
I wish i'll finish this really soon 'cause I want to work on other stuff.
