What a hunk of crap. I am embarrased to say that I've purchased this figure.
The first time I transformed him yesterday, all these parts came off. The grill of the truck mode, the entire head/cowl type apperature, there's a huge lever sticking out of his back which activates his 'automorph' claw. The claw is cool; the lever is not.

Piece of sh*t. SH*T I say! S-H-asterisk-T!

I like Payload, he's certainly not the best of the movie toys but he's cool. My only complaint is the big rod sticking out of his back. As for parts falling off? That's what super glue is for my friend!

I didn't get this one. I thought i would. But when i saw how SMALL it is, i backed out.

Now that i know there's a freaking rod sticking out of his back... I'm sure glad i didn't get him!

But i'm gonna get Dropkick and Longarm... as soon as their prices cool down to an acceptable level.

Longarm and Dropkick are the better of Wave 2 figures. Only gripe about Longarm I have is the gun is screwed onto his hand. And Dropkick needs a better truck model..Instead looking like a Bobcat from GTA =\

Payload didn't look decent to me, I honestly dislike a head that looks like a drone..(lensheads)

Is there a way to shorten the rod on Payloads back or does it have to stick out??? Is it possible to pertinently disable that feature without ruining the figure??? Cause I really like the look of it, only thing putting me off buying it is the pieces falling off, which I can fix, & that rod...

These cannon-fodders should be priced cheaper. Somewhere half the price of Deluxe or lower.

So that people can buy multiple of them. And make them real cannon-fodders on display!

I think payload is pretty cool! His feet kinda suck for poseability sake, but other than that I think he's a very solid figure.

+1 about the superglue. His head,neck,chest,breast plates can be quite annoying.

Why not just cut a large chunk off of the rod?

I quite like the look of the drones, so I'll be getting all of them. Except for Dreadwing. I just can't get over those stumpy legs

I thought the legs were dumb at first too, but he grows on you, because he actually stands up nicely, and you can pose those arms out with the flames shooting towards something. He's pretty cool, more then I thought he'd be when I was picking him up.
