I found out today some guy I knew committed suicide. The only upside, he decided to stand in front of a train to do it. Granted there were other cooler ways to go, but that works.

My day started with a little fender bender (not that fender bender)..ehh no big deal, then I screw up a car payment and cant get it refunded so I'm out $200. Then I get asked to work late tomorrow, and now Sanjaya is off of Idol. It doesnt get any worse than that.

OMG yeah.
Here in Jasper, we have one officer on duty to issues liscenses. You have to come ridiculously early to sigh up then wait 3 hours or so until he can see you and such. If you come at 8:00am the sheets filled up for the day already.

Well hopefully today will be better. I made my flash cards, I remembered my college pamphlet, and I got a good nights sleep. So I'm off to a good start.

Sorry to hear your having a bad day Cat. I recall having a broken bottle of liquid in my backbag several times in my school time and dang did that suck. Especially if you have stuff like I-pod's and mp3 players in there.

See, on the outside of my backpack is a netted pocket with elastic at the top, for holding bottles.
My water bottle was broken, but none of my stuff got wet! Huzzah!
My backpack is really nice. It has more pockets than I know what to do with (Literally, I still haven't used some of them) and even though one of the straps broke, I tied it together (bottom part tied around main part) and it works just fine.
Plus, it's Master Chief Green, and that rocks.

I just use a backpack with a single strap going across the chest bandoleer-style. however people commonly like to pull on the strap when I'm not looking so that the Velcro comes undone!

I have two of those on my backpack. But I can't bring my backpack to class with me. I have to keep it in my locker, that's why I use my purse (which is more of a small bag then a purse really). They're afraid one of us will bring a bomb to school or something I guess.
