This is the first time anything like this has happened, I bought Conan the other day got home and put it in the xbox to play, pushed start and the opening scene was playing left for a couple of minutes to get a drink came back and it froze at the point when your able to play.. 360 would not respond, controller would not respond..had to turn it off manual.. and hour later I took the game out and left it on the 360 menu screen, came back a couple of minutes later it also froze.. was playing it (same day) and it froze in the middle of gameplay.. SHould I be worried, any advice on what to do? Thanks

Is it in an enclosed tv stand or out in the open? They can overheat rather quickly.

No RED RING, and its out in the open, bought the system used back in May of this year from Gamestop, dont have the reciept anymore..

they can usually track it via serial number. i say go to gamestop first, THEN microsoft. i have heard they aren't exactly customer-friendly.

I would try and contact Microsoft then, they might have an answer. Mine's locked up twice due to marathon sessions and it's a day one system.

thanks Ill do that, havent played it since the other day, do u think that Ill get the red ring soon, really was looking forward to Playing the Simpsons, this week..

Well, theres your problem.

That game is bad, and it could be your X-box is punishing you for buying it.

But, in all seriousness, I have no clue what could be wrong.

Although depending on the frequency of when the freezing occurs.(Example: My elite has frozen on me once since I've gotten it on release day) I would listen to the others and contact Microsoft.

Conan not that bad, but if you compare it to something like GOD of War it sucks, anyways, Microsoft offices are probably close on Sundays.. First thing Monday morning ill call them, hopefully something can be done soon, at least before Assassins Creed comes out..How long does the process take for them to either replace the system or repair it, and what is Microsoft number??? Thanks

I have games lock up on me. and a simple restart has worked for me. But the only lingering issue I had was a game stuttering but to fix it I just had to Hol LB anf RB when starting the system and hold it till the game had fully booted.
