Waiting to see how Appolyon's QC turns out before considering this guy, so I REALLY hope Appolyon turns out great because I really want this.

Looks like their putting together the toy in it's test shot colors.

Next step is probably going to be doing the toy in it's final G1 Scourge colors. Putting it together and releasing it.

Those sample colors remind me of flying around Mos Eisley, but it's nice to see a little more about this guy. I guess they are still missing the front piece of the alt mode because that just looks weird.

Y'know, this is neat but I have no interest in an MP Scourge without a Cyclonus and Galvatron to stand next to him.

its only a matter of time before we see something for cyclonus XT have teased alot of figures and so far they have been made or have been shown through renders.

Scourge looks super simple compared to Apollyon but i hope XT have taken notes from apollyon about how much we care about QC and focus that into all their products from now on .

Always thought the G1 Scourge vehicle drew it's initial design inspriration from this Star Wars Land Speeder Vehicle.

Then had the design get tweaked

Looking at the final 1986 G1 Scourge vehicle. Think it looks like one of those Japanese anime ships that can go in the ocean and fly in space.

Aware of what the Hasbro 1986 box art for Scourge says that the vehicle description is a Cybertronic Hovercraft. http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Scourge_(G1) :lol:

Which seems like another word to describe the Star Wars Land Speeder vehicle mode. :lol:

I think that would be the natural chronological stage in a toy's production cycle.

Only way to know is ask Floro Dery if this was his inspiration too. As Arcee is a naked Princess Leia maybe your guess might not be too far off.

Was KFC's Cyclonus too small or of too poor quality to be considered an MP? I've not seen any pics of it with any MPs yet. Just asking since it'd go a long way to thinking about Scourge here.

Unfortunately, both. He stands somewhere between Deluxe and Voyager Classics figures (or a hair under MP cars), and he's just fiddly. I picked one up on the cheap a few months ago because I thought it wasn't throwing away too much money. He's nice, but definitely not for an MP collection.
