I may get these, but only if they make a set for Hoist that matches the deco of the Takara version of the figure, as I won't be getting the Hasbro version.

Absolutely ridiculous.

They need to reconsider their business strategy here and charge 30 for both sets. Expecting collectors to pay out the ass like this for these minor upgrades is just stupid.

Hope Beelzeboss will come out with an alternate set of wings and guns for these guys... least they have a clue.

If you look at this pic, there's definitely more than just a gun there in vehicle mode, though I'm uncertain if it has any use in bot mode:

I'm not saying it necessarily justifies the cost, but they do appear to be giving us more than just the gun for Trailcutter.

No it's just the gun just folded out, if you look at the gun when attached to his arm, you'll notice that it not just covers his hand but extends to the outside of the lower arm.

Whoa, really? I guess it fooled me. I thought it looked like way more than just a couple of panels that fold around. I'm sure you're right, but I just can't quite tell I guess (of course, not yet having that mold in-hand to actually know the scale of the back of the truck mode doesn't help

).

That seems a bit messed up to me. Sounds like X2 have little faith that they'd sell many of the Trailcutter set on it's own so they've lumped it in with Hoist. I'm cool with this as I was going to go for both since they reduced the cost.
