Yeah, when you joined the News Crew we were thinking of only letting you cover RPM's, Robot Heroes and Fast Action Battlers...
Oh dear..

I second that, I'd absolutely love a new Rhinox figure.

Beast Wars Scourge. It was the first time i had seen Transformers in a store since I was a kid. I popped for it cuz he transformed into a Locust. (Lokust has been my nickname since '96) I was amused to have an Insecticon forged in my honor. Ha. I think it said Transmetal on the package whatever the hell that was.
Anyway, it was ridicuoous to Transform, and pieces fell off of it all the time. My girlfriend (now wife) at the time bought me my second transformer for my birthday or Valentines day a few months later. It was a Universe car whose name escapes me. it was also ridiculous to Transform. Parts fell off every time. I was 21 then by the way.
After that Armada came out, and my nephew was always watching it with me, so I brought him into the wonderful world of Transformers and we began collecting together. We bought every figure in the line of Armada. I still have the entire line MISB. (Yeah, you read that right, I have the entire Armada line MISB - but don't worry, i have my favorites loose as well!)
When Energon came out we tackled that too, but I don't have any Energon MISB. I busted em all opened... at this point I was not buying doubles to keep MISB because i was collecting other things at that time as well. (Marvel Legends, anyone? - oh, and Takara TFC & TRU Commerative were eating up some $$$ as well! I completed both lines)
Anyway - My nephew and I were both very disappointed with Cybertron. We just did not like the cartoon. So we did not collect. We gave animated a chance, but i did not like it either. That did not stop me from picking up some figs though. I have Soundwave, the Dinobots, Strascream, Jazz, Megatron, and a few other. Pretty much anything that looks like a decent homage to G1 i snatched it.
I have the entire original Movie line MISB.
I have not bought anything from ROTF. I will eventually at least get Jetfire.
We're hoping the next show is more of a throwback to the older shows. I am willing to collect again. But only if the show doesn't suck!

Let's see. My first adult TF would have to be, no big surprise, Starscream. I suck.
In my defense, it was Armada Starscream, which is, admittedly, a pretty nice figure. (I now own three repaints of that same figure). Then after that I got an Armada (hanging head) Starscream (seriously, this predictability is saddening). Then nothing for a while.
THEN I went to Botcon. (Guess who I got there?)
HK, that's a punchline, in a way. For my bank account at least.
