...wait, you have two NP's?
Oh hell...
Good news for me, I found a Mirage. Hey, does his chest plate (car front end) not lock down or something? Those upper chest panels look like they connect to the tabs on the thing's sides, but they really don't secure themselves very well.
I was thinking about drilling and putting a strong little mini-magnet into the 'engine' case under the hood, then maybe a piece of metal against the underside to lock it down. (Oh, and I want to paint the underside either white or silver/steel. He's just way too dark)

When Nemesis Prime wasn't released on HasbroToyShop.com, I turned towards the Transformers Collector's Club store. At this point I wasn't looking for myself, I was trying to get one for my Brother-in-Law. Of course the Club Stores site was all buggy...and I kept hitting refresh until finally my order went through.
Turns out though that my Brother-in-Law actually bought one on e-Bay the night before, and failed to mention that to me. Its cool...I'll just keep the one in box since he's so "wanted."
Mirage's front end does not lock down to anything. According to the instructions those tabs on each side that fold up are supposed to lock down the chest, but they don't. Oh well.
Your magnet idea sounds cool though...and so does lightening up his underside.

They'd probably have to make him a shell-former if they even bothered. Otherwise, to fit with the 'round' form, you'd have to make it Jabba the Hutt--and that just makes no sense.

Though I'm cruel. I'd have shot the bugger.
Here's a non-TF strip I made. It was per request on another board, sorta. (They wanted more Gundams featured in pics)
