A (almost) BRAND NEW MOLD TO CELEBRATE THE NEW CHINESE YEAR!

I sighted this UFO at Canadian Amazon for the low, low price of 40$CAN. Crimsonflame is a classic medieval imperial soldier who convert into a Chinese dragon in 22 steps.

I have absolutely no idea if it's a deluxe or a voyager, IT IS A DELUXE, and it is priced as a deluxe despite coming with many accessories. Meaning his lance, one or two blast effects, a shield, and a display stand.

The shipping date is for April 1st, 2024. No, it's not a joke. (At least, I do hope so.)

At that price, I didn't hesitate to order mine.

He's a heavy retool of The Last Knight Steelbane.



We've had him in the news here before and he was on display at the same show Titan Tidal Wave was revealed at, but sort of got lost in the shuffle.

I've seen him a bunch of times on the usual Chinese shops (AliExpress and so on), but usually for US $50 or more. Congrats on finding him listed on Amazon CA at a low price, I don't see him on Amazon US.

There's a point when a "heavy retool" is becoming a brand new mold with only the same "general idea" as the previous one. Like the Studio Series ROTB Airrazor VS the original Kingdom one.
Still, unlike that previous example, I think it's a 75% retool like for all these Combiner Wars Silverbolt, Cyclonus, Hun-Gurr, and Hardshell. I spy the legs and shoulderpads being the same.

Let's hope Crimsonflame will not be as floppy as the old Silverbane.

BTW, I look often at AliExpress and I never, ever saw Crimsonflame. The first time I saw it was at Canadian Amazon.

Hell, I'm browsing the TF section at Amazon almost every days. The new stuff is supposed to appear on the first page. But here, that Crimsonflame listing was buried on page 8. Now it has been bumped at page 4, but still. I learned of its existence at Amazon.

It's still now newsed even now.

Like I said before, we newsed the innitial announcement, it was the full reveal that we missed since it got caught up in the Tidal Wave info.

And I do run into it a lot on Ali Express: Listing 1, List 2, Listing 3

Yeah, I browsed Ali yesterday and I saw the listing once. But I had to turn a few pages. But like all official products, it's nope'd priced over there.

While Transformers Year of the Dragon Crimsonflame was revealed a while back, it was unclear whether or not it would get North American distribution. Well, Amazon.ca had it listed at $40 CAD and shipping in April. It sold out instantly but with it being sold by Amazon for the Canadian market, it could be that we see it eventually available for US distribution (either by Amazon or another retailer.

Amazon.ca ended up shipping these early so some western fans have them in hand now. Here is a review in case you are curious.

Here's a review from a Canadian who may have either missed the Amazon.ca sale, or he never knew it was available there in the first place. He ended up paying 50$CAN plus shipping.



On my end, I bought mine from amazon.ca and it's pretty good. A bit fiddly, but much, MUCH more solid than the original TLK Steelbane.

Canadians, heads-up.

But they can use forwarding services. Also while he’s back on Amazon, it says he wont ship for a couple months, which in Amazon terms means “maybe never”

saying it's in stock would imply they have it in hand, this is more like a pre-order.

Problem with using a shipping service to get it from Canada is it would eliminate any savings over ordering it from AliExpress.
