Cougar-phoenix fuzor. Navy blue fur. Bright purple wings. Black lantern mark on back of neck. Pure black eyes.
Background:
At eighteen, Davine is very close to Clara, and understands her better than any of their sisters do. Like her sisters, she doesn’t remember before they were reprogrammed, which for her was her twelfth year. She has rapid mood swings at times–severe ones–but they don’t usually affect her, which she assumes is an affect of her reprogramming. When her mood is dark, what usually happens is Gabrielle goes very, very, very mad with bloodlust; when it’s bright, Alarinne starts bouncing off the walls. She also has an odd ability, which she assumes she had before she was reprogrammed, to control the shadows near her. When she’s controlling them, however, they sometimes glow white, which puzzles her and her sisters to no end. Davine decided a long time ago to try to ignore it when they started glowing, but it’s a little difficult, seeing as most shadows don’t glow white. It still irritates her at times when she can’t figure out why. Those are the days when you’ll need to avoid Gab for the rest of the day, if not the rest of the week.
Bio:
Davine usually ends up playing confidante to Clara, but her preferred role is that of thief–-whether the stealing be of goods, information, food, or people. As such she is usually the one Elise confers with for a rescue mission, since Alarinne has a tendency to get captured. She has, as her sisters put it, owl’s eyes, or excellent night vision. The only real problem that’s come of it so far is that if it’s a little too bright out, she’s more or less incapacitated from the pain in her eyes. Her sisters would tease her about it, if they didn’t feel it to a far lesser degree through their link and know that Davine was hiding the worst of it from them. They try not to bother her when it gets that painful, because her mood quickly darkens from it and Gab will most likely go on a rampage. On a rare occasion, when bothered while in this kind of pain, she won’t be able to keep the pain away from her sisters. When that happens, they drop to the ground wherever they are, covering their eyes to try and block the pain, though they know full well that they can’t.
