About Oblivion Lantern

The sisters of Oblivion Lantern underwent a radical procedure when they were children to unite seven Transformers into one gigantic gestalt. None of them remember the details of the procedure, but they all know one thing for sure: if they hadn’t gotten the black lantern on their necks, it couldn’t have happened. They know that this doesn’t make any logical sense, but it is true. It is also the only thing that any of them remember distinctly about their childhood. Alarinne's is the only birthday that they can recall, for in a way, it is all of their birthdays--the day that Arazon, their gestalt mode, was born. The latest birthday, Alarinne's twelfth, marked their sixth year as a gestalt. All are terrified of something that they call ‘being voided.’ They have no words to explain it, and it is suspected by those who know them that it has something to do with the lanterns on all of their necks, and their reprogramming acting in concert with it.

The girls’ reprogrammers, six males and the female who led their group, each follow the girl that each reprogrammed. They are under orders from the Lord Decepticon to prevent the girls from breaking free of their reprogramming, as some of the other Decepticon gestalts have, according to whispered rumors that cautiously wander the dark halls of generals’ bases, highly repressed by the Lord Decepticon. The female invented a new way of reprogramming to prevent such a thing; now she and her team have to make sure that the girls don’t escape. If the girls do escape, it’s all their heads–the female’s first.
