Weapons: Claws, Teeth (Beast Mode) Automatic Rifle, Bladed Whip, Hub-Cap Shields, Time-Delay Bombs, Various Spy tools (Robot Mode)
Bio: If any Maximal is a study in contrast, it is Rat-trap. On the surface, he is a whiner whose first instinct is to abject to any and all orders given by Cheetor Prime. His biting humor and attitude give the impression that he likes very few Maximals other than himself. In reality, though, his bitter and sarcastic sense of humor is his way of dealing with a war that he never asked to be involved in. Those who know Rat-trap understand this and choose to focus on his strengths. Rat-trap is extremely resourceful, cunning and brave. He is loyal to his comrades and uncompromising in his principles.
Transmetal Form: Following the Quantum surge that struck the planet, Rat-trap's body was changed dramatically. His beast mode became a mechanical rat with teeth able to chew through metal. He gained a new weapon in robot mode: a bladed whip made from his tail as well as a third mode, a dragster with a top speed of 160 mph. If necessary, he can use his hubcaps as shields in robot mode.
Weakness: Rat-trap's whining sometimes irritates the other Maximals to the point where they turn on him.
