About Team Maximus
This team of Maximals was sent to retrieve stragglers from research missions only to be thrown into a war on a distant planet similar to Earth. The team they were sent to rescue was eliminated by their Predacon Cyborg Pirate foes and the Maximal ship was disabled upon landing. Led by Cheetor Prime, direct descendant of the latest Prime, Suteneko Prime, the team aims to return to Cybertron with the Predacon forces in tow.
Maximal Team: Attempting to rescue their brethren from the Predacon forces, Cheetor Prime's ship, the Star Shot, was badly damaged and crashed near the remains of the original Maximal base on this planet. Adopting beast modes, Cheetor sets to stop the Predacons from gathering enough of the natural resources on the planet to create a super energon to help Cryotek take over Cybertron. After several months on the planet, Cheetor's forces were are no longer who they once were.

Predacon Team: A team of pillaging Predacon Pirates. They stole outdated, but functional, Decepticon mining equipment to manufacture Energon. Their ship was disabled upon landing, but their beast modes allowed them to destroy the Maximal team sent after them. After the arrival of Cheetor Prime's rescue team, they seek to obtain tech from the Maximal team to repair their ship and return to Cybertron.
