Currently:
A leader in his own right, Thundertron resides primarily on Daraknus, a storm-wrapped planet on the edge of known space. Hidden behind a natural electromagnetic field, Daraknus remained unreachable for ages—until Thundertron made it the cornerstone of Cybertron’s survival. With a functioning Space Bridge and a specialized communications satellite array, he has ensured Cybertron’s refueling and long-term stability is no longer theoretical, but inevitable.
Several key allies have arrived to help expand the Daraknus base into a true planetary defense and production hub, transforming it from exile into empire-grade infrastructure.
Abilities:
Thundertron possesses an extreme tolerance for pain, making him exceptionally difficult to stop once engaged. His durability is legendary even among Decepticons. He is built for endurance warfare and relentless forward pressure, able to sustain damage that would incapacitate most units.
His cannon configuration excels in long-range artillery deployment, with fusion-based payloads designed for siege-breaking firepower.
Weapons:
Robot Mode:
Primary: Two-handed axe with rear spike
Shoulder-mounted machine guns (integrated, slide-deploy)
Secondary: Strumcannon

Bio:
Most believe Thundertron is merely another of Shockwave’s engineered projects—an experiment like Astrotrain or Blitzwing. Thundertron prefers that misconception. Only a very small few know the truth, because they were present when accident became history.
Thundertron was never planned.
During an augmentation process meant to safeguard Megatron’s spark, a catastrophe occurred: the containment casing fractured, and a shard broke away—viable, living, and impossibly stable. Shockwave, unwilling to discard potential, secured the fragment. That shard was nursed over time, growing within containment until it reached full spark integrity.
Thus Thundertron was born: a twin spark-brother to Megatron, created by accident, sustained by calculation, and hidden by necessity.
Shockwave transferred the spark into a constructed body shell deliberately distinct from Megatron’s, ensuring secrecy—and therefore survival. Thundertron came online during the era when Megatron was lost on Earth, and Cybertron endured in harsh isolation. Alone, Thundertron’s unit not only survived—they exceeded expectations, operating without the resources or energon supply lines that should have made continued function impossible.
When Shockwave finally re-established contact with Megatron on Earth, he revealed Thundertron’s existence. Megatron processed the truth in silence for a long time before deciding that relation or not, Cybertron required warriors. He ordered secrecy. The name “brother” was not spoken lightly.
As the time to reclaim Cybertron approached, Megatron left standing orders: if Thundertron had survived, he was to be recovered.
Shockwave found him imprisoned and depleted, barely functional in an Autobot holding facility. Re-energized and repaired, Thundertron returned to readiness. When Megatron arrived, he found his brother standing—armed, active, and waiting for war.
Thundertron shares many of Megatron’s qualities: iron will, strategic instinct, dominance of presence. Most dangerously, he shares Megatron’s temper. Across Cybertron he became known as The Tempest, a commander whose storms were not metaphorical. Few Decepticons approach him casually. Those who serve under him do so with lethal loyalty.
His intelligence is high, but patience is not. This is where his unit becomes essential—drawing plans and strategy from him without triggering destruction. Thundertron is immensely strong, but slower than average, built for siege endurance rather than aerial finesse.
History:
Thundertron’s loyalty to Megatron has never been simple. His need to lead is instinctual, and once his origin became known, friction followed. Thundertron challenged Megatron’s judgment—once—and learned violently what it meant to face the true warlord of Cybertron directly.
In a brutal hand-to-hand contest, Thundertron was dismantled in both body and pride. Soundwave observed without intervention, his loyalty absolute. Thundertron understood then that command is not claimed by desire—it is earned through outcome.
Though the incident shook him, it did not extinguish his ambition. Thundertron’s leadership remains focused, not on replacing Megatron, but on building something enduring beneath the Decepticon empire.
That purpose found its form on Daraknus, where Thundertron became not merely a warrior—but an architect of survival.
Look:
Thundertron’s alternate configuration is that of a standing turret. In transformation, his lower body becomes a stable base while his torso rotates to lock the central cannon from shoulder to core. His arms rise into position to enable targeting grid alignment.
In robot mode, he stands eye-to-eye with Megatron and shares many structural features, though his coloration is midnight navy and black, often appearing entirely dark unless struck by proper light.
All optics remain Decepticon red.
Weakness:
Thundertron’s heavy armor and immense strength come at the cost of speed. His primary artillery systems require a brief charge, and though devastating once online, his automated aim sequence is slow to engage, leaving him exposed for several critical seconds in high-speed combat scenarios.
He is a storm made for endurance—unstoppable when advancing, vulnerable only when forced to react too quickly.
