Lonrac has a simple policy...to defeat Starcream, you must first be Starscream...
and while not intending to be a botocidal mech, he knows if he can fly as fast, maneuver with the same agility and take away every advantage that the Decepticons have, then there is a better chance of beating them.

A survivor of the Tassia Prime conflict, he underwent the flight upgrade in order to enact revenge on the Air Commander that took out so much of his former unit, and while this revenge policy has gotten him listed by the Psych-ops as a battlefield hazard, his mission reports have shown him to be a balanced and determined solider.

In his most recent upgrade he has gone for stealth coating, to join with the stealth patrol.
