Gadgett's Bio

Gadgett started with the Autobots as a Grunt. Nothing special. He was with his fellow grunts in the field when the squad was ambushed. It was not the Decepticons that attacked them, it was some form of creature! these creatures were draining the life essence out of the fallen Autobots. Luckily the distress call was answered. Another squad was nearby and came to fight off the attackers.

Gadgett was taken along with the rest of his squad to a medical facility. Ratchet was on hand to handle repairs. He was in the midst of doing a medical diagnostic when the screen started flashing warnings. The Autobot he was working on had recieved a memory download within the last fews hours.

As it turns out, the creatures were trying to suck the life force out of the Transformer shells so that they could put theirs inside. It was a nice plan and would have worked if not for the rescue party. In Gadgetts case, the transfer was interupted. The creature somehow left parts of his memories behind. As it turns out, the creature was a healer.

Instead of Grunt, He became a Medic. Healing those with his new skills.

Many years went by. Gadgett joined Team - Unique Name and became their medic. He ultimately perished during the conflict known as Dark Tidings. His body was retrieved. His spark was salvaged. There was no fix for his body. His spark was damaged so much that it could not be reimplanted into another shell.

It was during this down time that then team Commander Optimal Prime implemented a new plan. He took all of his old memory scans and information and cloned most of his team. Gadgett was one of them.

But before that process was finished, a lab accident occured. Not only was his spark kept in the laboratory, former comrade Maximus-Prime's was as well. The 2 sparks merged and fell into a new shell and that became known as Exemplar. That was the end of the Original Gadgett.

The cloned Gadgett was out in the field fighting battles for a long time. He was at the North Pole when Rodimus Prime was forced to unleash the power of the Matrix to save the world on Christmas. These strange energies were absorbed by Gadgetts cloned spark.

It took a few weeks before the signs became aparent. Gagdgett began to mutate. Into what, nobody knew.

The Gadgett we see today is not the one who first one to go by this name. The first is dead. The second is lost inside of this third one. His new cloned spark began to change and grow. His altmode began to grow.

The battle waged ever on. No one had the time to examine him properly. He just kept going as if nothing was wrong.

In time, fellow Maximal Exemplar had a matrix style breakdown. Thousands of personalities emerged and found for control of his body. Gadgett stepped in to try to help his friend. It was then that the personality of the original Gadgett appeared. These 2 fought over who was the real one. Eventually the new personality broke free of Exemplar and tried to merge with thr mutating clone.

It was then that the remaining matrix energy that lay dormant inside his body awoke. It merged the two back into one. The one who was always meant to be there. Gadgett. A lifetime of helping. A lifetime of fighting. A lifetime of being a freak. Time to show them what the one true Gadgett was made of.

They called for soldiers... a medic answered. Just not the one they were expecting.
