Born from a spark long lost in the Dead Universe, the Rook comes seeing himself as a servant to a Balance God, working as a psychopomp to end the injustices of dark magics and mad sciences which prolong Decepticon lives. While dark, the Rook is noble and sees the Maximal way as one of true balance.
Meeting Stormeyes on the fields of battle in the depths of the Darkmount Fortress, Rook was invited to the team simply for fear of what he could do when uncontrolled. A Deployer with similar body type to Decepticon Laserbeak, a beastly flier called Ravenexus, sems to control Rook's thoughts on rare occasions. When this happens there is an unusual energy field, known by Great Auto and Plasmatron as Shadow-Void, released by the two until whatever requisite goal is met. Rook is loyal, strong, swift, and unparalleled in his marksmanship, but there is overcast enigma surrounding his very spark, and because there are times when he is not in control there are many who see him as a liability. This makes him at home with other renegades and extremists in the MCSF, he wears his badge on the team with pride.
