[Profile] Stripped away of all that was good within Rodimus Prime. A cruel but destined death at the hands of Unicron's herald - Galvatron. Dark Rodimus arose when a wandering Invidia Prima accidentally reactivated him. The very Dark Matrix that lies within Invidia Prima is the dimensional duplicate of that which Rodimus once possessed. Power-linking her Matrix core to Rodimus's casing, caused a re-birth of sorts.
Infused with Dark Energon, reactivated by Zombie'nanocon technology but not fully alive, Dark Rodimus is sadistically insane; will not hesitate to dismantle, then consume any and all that cross his path without cause or provocation.
Drawing from cached memories of past Matrix bearers and his own historical data files, Dark Rodimus retains a fraction of his original personality which allows him to act as a "voice of reason" to the sometimes emotionally blinded enraged Invidia Prima.
[Abilities] Able to bend the subatomic molecules within most alloys and restructure them to his will with the aide of his Decayed Matrix core. Choosing an alternate mode closer to that of when he was Hot Rod, now equipped with ramming capabilities reinforced by armor upgrades fabricated from fallen ally & foe alike.
Rocket Propelled Mortar Shells can be fired from side forearm exhaust turrets causing serious burns to soft targets and melting hard ones. In extreme cases, can cause spontaneous dissolution of the target, including separation of soft tissues from hard ones or wholesale molecular destabilization that turns the target into a viscous green fluid. In a twisted tribute to his former comrade, secondary weapon is a Fire Stone Sling forged from the rotting remains of the the Autobot Wheelie capable of heavy damage as a result of compounding damage to target.
Zombiecon nanites within require Dark Rodimus to drain his opponents of their cybernetic operating fluids and Energon in order to maintain his self awareness.
[Weaknesses] Rodimus' self awareness comes from the only file left of his original Autobot personality, which contains his own self-doubt. Word of this has yet to reach Invidia Prima due to Dark Rodimus' preternatural affinity to the Dark Matrix, making him unreadable by Invidia Prima or any another cyber-path.
