AS7-D Atlas' Bio
Commanding Officer of the 47th, Atlas is an extremely strict disciplinarian who will not tolerate any descension in his ranks.
Unlike most Decepticon units which are comprised of disorganized bands who compete against each other, and often thwart each other in the process, Commander AS7-D brutally enforces the chain of command and organizational discipline.
In the early days of the Civil War Atlas was witness to inept and terrible leadership. He saw how the infighting, lack of coordination, and lack of training often led to Decepticon defeats.
Identifying this flaw, and the Decepticons' seemingly complete lack of military discipline, Atlas vowed that he would gain command of a legion and mold it into a professional fighting force dedicating itself to true military discipline and organization.
This zealous devotion to military discipline earned him the nickname "Ten" back in the early days of his command when he invoked the ancient punishment known as "decimation" in response to a mutinous subordinate and all who were in league with him.
While their helpless comrades looked on at gun point Commander Atlas forced them to slay every tenth Decepticon in the legion in addition to the failed mutineers.
Since the decimation was invoked no Decepticon has dared challenge the chain of command and "Ten" is intent on keeping it that way...
