Astrinn's Bio

Astrinn used to be a prisoner of the Deceptacons, kept alive to fulfil their sick and demented pleasures of torture. For over a decade he was a prisoner that they couldn't break no matter the means of the torture. They tried and every time the session ended he walked away smiling. For a time everyone thought he had lost it long before, and they took refuge in the thought that maybe his breaking point had been subtle. But in reality he knew he could let them trap him, beat him, and do evil things to him, but they could not reach the most important place of any living being: They could not break his mind. Eventually they got bored with him and left him in his cell, and altogether forgot about him. As the weeks passed and he grew strong again, he waited for the proper time to retaliate and break himself and the other's free. One night he felt particularily restless and paced his holding-cell, and an explosion shook the Outpost violently. Astrinn knew his time had come, and he was ready. Astrinn broke down the cell door and continued to help the other's out of their cells. In the main hall was a sight that Asrtinn never thought he could witness, the Azure Brigade had come and blown a hole in the wall for them to escape. What Nexus Prime would say would stay with Astrinn for the rest of his days: "Come with us and leave these forsaken halls to rot. Tonight let your worlds begin anew outside the boundaries of pain." It was in this moment that Astrinn realized he hadn't been waiting to be free, he was always free, he was waiting for a leader to aid in his quest for freedom to those who weren't. Astrinn has been part of the Azure Brigade ever since, even after they became the Blue Dragon Squad.
