Road Turtle's Bio
Function: Maintenance Drone / Juxtacon Leader
An unlikely hero and an even more unlikely leader, Road Turtle was originally built to repair, and maintain the Sharkticon execution pits for his Quintesson creators. He was most of all, designed to be disposable, for the average life span of a maintenance drone was exceedingly short because most drones usually became snacks for the ravenous Sharkticons. Road Turtle learned how to become quick and agile, and learned how to exploit the weaknesses and blind spots of the mechanized monstrosities he was forced to work around.
He eventually found and befriended Steel String, who was an experimental special-ops robot on the run from the Quintessons. Steel String had escaped the lab where he was created and found a hiding place by transforming into a sonic disruptor pike, which Road Turtle used to subdue and pacify the Sharkticons.
With the help of Steel String, Road Turtle devised a plan to cause a factory wide power outage so to free themselves and as many other robots as possible. The plan worked flawlessly, and many robots found refuge in the jungles of Quintessa or managed to escape Quintessa all together. Crosstrack and Crosswind were both experimental aerial fighter robots who gladly took Steel String and Road Turtle off planet with them.
Since then, Steel String has taken on the form of a guitar, which Road Turtle can still wield as a sonic disruptor. Road Turtle can also wield Steel String in his sonic vibro-axe mode, but Road Turtle has nowhere near the precision and zeal of Chassis.
