Flatfoot's Bio
Function: Security and Law Enforcement
Not quite military grade, Flatfoot was a consumer goods robot designed for policing a world under martial law. His job was to ensure that every being in his jurisdiction submitted to the laws and whims of the governing body. Flatfoot was an "enforcer of the peace".
Flatfoot and his fellow security enforcement clones were built from an old experimental diaclone design where the driver of the the accompanying transtector vehicle became fused within it's cockpit, becoming the spark chamber of it's larger robot form. The initial robotic driver form was that of a six foot tall humanoid to match the heights of the humanoid beings they were sold to. This allowed Flatfoot to dramatically increase in size for better crowd suppression and control.
After several hundred years of controlling the occasionally rebelling masses, Flatfoot and his fellow security drones realized the difference between peace and freedom. They notice that the propaganda of peace, unity, security, and serenity spoke nothing of the genocide, assassinations, kidnappings, and cover-ups they were ordered to engage in. They enforced the peace of the planet by imprisoning or executing any citizen who disagreed with the governing body. Flatfoot also realized that they too were nothing but prisoners on this prison world.
Grand Convoy was also one of many diaclnes to have been sold to this world. Together with Flatfoot and the rest of the diaclones, they turned on and disposed of the dominating governing body that had striped away the freedoms of it’s citizens.
Instead of peace and celebration, the actions of Flatfoot and his fellow robots caused mass panic, anarchy, riots, and several spontaneous wars amongst factions of the people of this world. The entire planet was hurled into instant chaos, because there was no longer any enforced unity, and all of the different factions insisted that their way was the best way to govern the world.
Flatfoot left the self-destructing planet along with Grand Convoy. After that experience, Flatfoot now firmly believes that with total freedom comes a conflict of incompatible beliefs and ideals, and that no civilization can achieve true peace without the total sacrifice of conflicting beliefs and ideals.
