Misaligned Lieutenant Commander

Considering he's not the scientific type, Strike-Eagle has a better, more open-minded understanding of the universe than most Decepticons. He realizes that since the extent of what we don't know is so BIG, LOTS of questions will simply go unanswered. He's studied every philosophy and religion he's come into contact with, but always ends up viewing their adherants as cowards for settling on some omniversal cop-out that excuses either their intellectual laziness or unwillingness to confront the fear that the prospect of the infinite unknown should instill in us all. He finds monotheism particularly disturbing since an all-powerful being whose existence can't be proved or disproved can never have its motives understood either, and if it became necessary to destroy said God, doing so might take out everything in existence along with it. He IS a warrior after all.

And so wherever he happens to be, Strike-Eagle can never get comfortable, always feeling the need to jet off somewhere, ANYWHERE else, in hopes of finally finding at least a purpose, a direction in which he might find the most answers. Ever the troubled philosopher-swordsman, he never truly strayed from the old Decepticon ideals, but felt most current Decepticons had, and so he avoided actually serving alongside any oil-thirsty thugs or would-be tyrants...

...until the day he broke up a fight between 2 'cons named Flash-Turbine and Kill-Vulcan. He doesn't know what their affinity is, just that the 3 of them are destined to fight as a cohesive team until a great power is unlocked within the core of their being. For now though, his main function seems to be keeping Kill-Vulcan from dismembering his annoying red teammate, and trying to curb Flash-Turbine's ecstatic insanity. This takes damn near all the time he'd need to devote to actually leading their trio, and as Flash-Turbine often points out, 'cons familiar with Earth culture openly compare them to the 3 Stooges.

So for now he's content to serve under Storm Front, whom he regards as less intelligent than himself, but driven by a similar discontent and more concerned about his troops' well being than most 'con leaders. This same concern has led Storm Front to allow nearly any oddball or outcast into the aptly named "Misaligned". Strike-Eagle doesn't like to admit how troubled he is by their presence; his new female teammates alone pose several baffling questions about just how and why his race has different genders. He's confused enough about the power he and the other two "Core-Masters" share without being reminded of the fact that he doesn't understand what his relationship is to the "siblings" Leozack and Lyzack.
