Malpractice's Bio
He has been reformatted time and again, from medic, to scientist, to solder, to medic again. So much reprogramming and reformatting that now all the elements have bled together after his latest reformatting. This has caused something to snap deep in his mind, causing the Cybertronian equivalent of both a mental breakdown, and subsequent madness.
He now sees himself as a scientist as much as a doctor and solder, though his current incarnation is lacking in most those areas. These days, he's more likened to a torturer by the few Decepticons and even fewer Autobots who know him. When not at work as a medic or solder, he keeps up his hobby as a biologist and geneticist.
His credits and energon is always spent on refurbishing his laboratory or acquiring new specimens for experimentation, dissection, or research. However, even in his own hobby he is easily bored. When that happens he takes his time in seeing what the pain threshold of the particular creature he is working on at the moment is. One could say that he gets a sort of perversive pleasure from the suffering of others, he would say that he was "An explorer in the further regions of experience."
Though a loyal Decepticon, he prefers to work alone. When given orders, he will often be less inclined to follow them and meander about his laboratory for hours before actually completing his task. Given an order by some one who he sees as worthy of his respect however, and he will follow obediently. Who he sees as worthy of respect is anyone's guess, though he does tend to follow orders given to him by Shockwave rather than Megatron.
