Great news for fans in North America, another rumour from earlier in the year is coming to fruition. Here is what we had heard through the grape vine a couple of months ago:
william-james88 wrote:There will be a lot of exclusives coming, as there have been in previous years. However, Hasbro will be changing it a bit to help Americans who may not have access to those retailers. Usually, all stock of exclusives are sent to the buyer (that being the retailer) but now Hasbro will keep 5% of the stock to sell via Hasbro pulse. So if you have no Walgreens near you, you could buy it on Pulse. But remember, 95% of that toy's stock is still going to Walgreens.
And now we are seeing this play out. Hasbro Pulse has a new section on their site called "Partner Exclusives" where you can order products that were previously only available through a particular retailer. As of now, they only have the first wave of Walmart exclusive RED figures, so nothing to write home about, but the key here is the initiative. This also means that they might post other figures that were already out instead of just exclusives going forward. This would be very helpful to people looking for Thrust and Runabout, for instance. Also, this would help with the scalper issue many are facing since they are imposing a 2 figure limit.
So all good news. You can get to that new page here:

The entire issue is discussed in this review
This issue was a series of interactions among various characters. Of course, that's what all stories are but what I mean here is that every 2 pages we got different characters talking to one another and this gave us a great sense of their relationships and personalities. It was basically a series of small character pieces all in one comic, ending with a pretty great action scene.
I especially like how different the Maximals are to the Predacons. All Predacon interactions are violent, with no sense of comradery. I loved the scene between Dinobot and Tarantulus, where the allegiance and disdain for hierarchy among Megatron's soldiers is made loud and clear. Dinobot is one of my favourite characters from my childhood and I am happy to see him interact with his fellow Predacons as an ally, since that's something we never really saw in the original Beast Wars show.
The other interaction I like is Optimus Primal and Nyx, but more for Primal's characterization. We see more of that younger and adventure hungry Primal here and how this side of him affects him as a leader. I like it. I already had the more world weary and pensive Primal, so it's fun to see this side of him. I also thought Josh Burcham drew him really well. The art will still not win a ton of people over but as someone who was not a fan, I did think Primal looked great. The simple approach to the fur in robot mode reminded me of the original toy where the molded fur detail would be more apparent at the edges. And speaking of the original toy, his transformation in the comic was a nice callback.
So, back to this less risk averse Primal, we see in this issue just what the consequences of this change can entail for the safety of his crew. It leads to a terrific scene with Terrorsaur. Once again Josh Burcham really delivers here with a great looking Pteranodon mode and some fun shots and angles, making for a very dynamic scene. I especially like the predatory POV shot we get (I won't spoil that shot in this review).
However, like I wrote earlier, the art in this issue won't change your mind. There are some odd choices, like how Scorponok's tail seems designed by Tim Burton and the lack of background in particular scenes is very glaring. The characters are expressive though, and the scenes are dynamic. So I choose to take the good and leave the bad. You do you.
We also get a small taste of the VOK and I am fine seeing them this early. We get a sense of all the players being brought to the table. I was never a fan of the VOK, they always felt anticlimactic to me in the original show, so I'll wait to pass judgement until I see more. At least their appearance this early already avoids the anti climax the show gave us when we found out what they really looked like.
Overall, I preferred this issue to the first, I really loved the character interactions. If you liked the characters from the original, especially the Predacons, then I recommend you check this out.

Greetings Seibertronians! We have some possible exciting news for those curious to see the Conmander Class for Transformers War for Cybertron: Kingdom.
It should be pointed out that so far, there is nothing else to go on other then this picture and what information has been shared with leakers so far. The following picture it's self comes from twitter user,
@hotconvoy, who doesn't offer a source for the picture.
As you can see, this is just the main body of Rodimus Prime, and though the picture isn't detailed, you can see some details on the legs that matches the style we've seen so far inn the WfC Trilogy. It's too early to say if be shares anything other then looks with the SS86 Voyager Class Hot Rod. We also see two accessories, a sword and a gun.
The picture also gives a Japanese ID number for him as KD-12 as well as a release date (in Japan), as August 2021, as well as his price in Yen. A date is also given of 10th of March, which, if this is to be believed, could be when we get our good and detailed look at the figure and everything he comes with.
Till we have a source for this, or get official confirmation, treat this as rumour.
If this is the real deal, what are your thoughts? Don't think this will be three in a row for Commander Class releases?
Give a shout out in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

Do you have a Transformers 1 comic at home? I'm referring to the original Marvel comic, from 1984 with the picture of Optimus Prime being as big as Godzilla. Well, if you do, it might be worth a whopping
$44 000. That is the price the comic got on auction the other day over at comiclink.com.
It was a graded comic (meaning a third party company graded it and put it in a plastic case) with a grade of 9.9. There are 3 comics out there with the same grade at the moment but probably more that look just as good, not yet graded, given this is not a rare comic in the least. If your copy looks great, maybe sending it in for grading at
CGC could get you a similar grade and thus the similar payday.
