The hands on the Warrior are a little goofy too.

Yeah, it takes a little creativity when posing Warrior OP.
As far as his hands, youtuber peaugh put a nice lil mod for those. I've done it and very happy with the results.

Optimus looks okay with the armor, but without it his chest just looks ridiculously bad.

I used a pocket knife and a file on my pocket multitool. One side came out like a factory job, they other is a loosey goosey, but holds just fine.
If you're still a little nervous, I can pop him apart again tonight and send ya some close up pics and point out which one is better.

2 things to say to this:
1: The scout class has returned in scale alone, but not in spirit. The best part of the scout class was that it was as detailed and coplex as the deluxe class but fo characters that were simply smaller and thus needed to be part of a smaller scale to fit wth the other deluxes. These battlepacks are not made to scale with the warriors. It seems like RID toys are not meant to scale across classes (or even their own). Legion Fixit does scale wonderfully with Warrior Bee though.
2: If you like ball joints, then you may be dissapointed that Takara opted to replace some ball joints on UW Devy for pin joints attached by mushroom peg.
Oh all the fgures I bought this year, he is the worst by far. The transformation sucks hard, his head doesnt lock in, the peg hole on his back serves no purpose, his arms look terrible and his shulder articulation is very awkward. I bought the COTF version for 10$ and still feel I overpaid. He also doesnt scale with anything. Easily the worst RID toy of the bunch.

Ya, Maybe. People poo poo ball joints. But I don't get it. Ball joints are what made Beast Wars such great toys... IMO.Also, looks like a much better figure than the Warrior.

When did this ever happen? He seemed like a great figure - apart from the mis-assembled thighs

I disagree, but only because I have a soft spot for 3 inch action figures.william-james88 wrote:The scout class has returned in scale alone, but not in spirit.
True for some of the Gen. scout releases, but not for Beast Wars and Energon. They were heavily simplified. Especially BW with their flippy gimmicks, but no less detailed. The best part of the scout class was that it was as detailed and coplex as the deluxe class
True to all of this, but that soft spot has got me. Even though I'm a little rubbed to get more of the same characters, these just have great play value. These battlepacks are not made to scale with the warriors. It seems like RID toys are not meant to scale across classes (or even their own). Legion Fixit does scale wonderfully with Warrior Bee though.

Ah but you forget that Beast Wars werent Scout Class figures, they were basic figures. The first ever Scout Class figures were for energon and Signal Flare, Divebomb and Strongarm are as complex as deluxe Hotshot and Mega Ironhide for instance. Cruellock had less steps but that was due to design of the toy. Same with Ravage. A deluxe Ravage would not have been more complex, would it?
This same reviewer puts 9 steps for Signal Flare and 10 steps for both deluxe Prowl and Hotshot.
We dont even have to look there, just look at your most recently aquired Scout figures, TAV Frenzy adn Rumble. Are they less complex than any of the deluxe CW figures?
The Scout class was just a smaller deluxe without sacrificing detail and complexity and I will stand by that. Some Legends toys have done a good job sticking to that idea, such as Blackjack, who is also as complex as both his fellow deluxe class TFs AND combiner wars Silverbolt.
Oh and Sabr, yeah that Optimus scales with Megatronus. I just didnt think about him since I dont own him yet. I hope to soon, just so that Optimus isnt as alone.

I agree with Will. I think the only true scout I own is Windcharger. But in my mind scout class figures are just as complicated/articulated as deluxe class figures. I find that we are starting to get a lot a variation across the lines lately. Some of the legends figures are a decent amount more involved than others.
With that in mind, legion Fixit is more articulated but with a simpler transformation (he just kinda lays down) than the warrior class figures in the RID line. Would that make him a super scout figure? Mega legion?

Oh wow this guy actually looks great. If they made a Nemesis Prime version as well I'd sell my Legends Nemesis Prime and buy both versions of this for my Legends collection...Oh wait, then he'd tower over my Legends Megatron. Maybe not.
Point is though he looks awesome.

Will, when I excluded the Gen. releases, I was thinking Breecher, Windcharger, and even Frumble. Those toys are by far the most complex of this class size, Heck Frumble are more complex than say CW deluxes.
But OK, you have me on your better grasp on the chronological time line of the name change of these classes. They're all the same with a different name in my book. Remember Legions used to be Legends?
Details!
These guys are most akin to Cyberverse Commanders, hence they are considered so by their makers. Those Commanders are some great figures.
But in the end...
Will! I thought you were excited about these guys?
I like Mega Legions.
Divebomb IS the best!
