To read the original story click here! There are also a couple of quotes from an interview with DOTM's Rosie Huntington-Whitley, but nothing all that revealing about the movie.
In other Transformers: Dark of the Moon news, Optimus Prime himself visited the American International Toy Fair in New York and received a $115 parking ticket.
The screen-used tractor-trailer version of Optimus Prime was parked on 41st Street near 8th Avenue in front of Times Square after being dropped off on a flatbed in two pieces from Los Angeles. New York City drivers had a hard time making it around the 9 ft vehicle, which was charged with blocking traffic.
Apparently, the truck is only drivable on a movie set, and not street legal. Although Hasbro, who had the truck and trailer shipped in for the Toy Fair, had all of the appropriate street permits, Optimus Prime still received a ticket. There is no word if Hasbro will pay the ticket at this time.

He should have diplomatic immunity, but he doesn't have his diplomatic plates, and his little Autobot flags weren't properly displayed on his front fenders.

Okay, blocking traffic plus no license plate at either front or back. That cop missed one. I'm interested to see who the ticket is issued to. To Hasbro, maybe?

Yeah, I wondered that too - maybe whatever rigging allows it to appear driverless?
Also, what's with putting the ticket in the passenger side door? I probably wouldn't have noticed it if I were the driver.

Never mind Ironhide, imagine if he tried to ticket the Wreckers!

Perhaps the truck didn't have the right weight permits. Some cops are really sticklers about that, especially in New York State.
I remember during the first Gulf War a US Army Abrams tank on a heavy equipment transporter (you know, big lowboy) was heading down the road to a train station and the truck was stopped by a state trooper for not having the right weight permits. See? Cops are awful here!
But here's the kicker: While the crew chief was arguing with the trooper, a friend of mine and the rest of the tank crew fired up the tank, unloaded it, and just drove it down the road
Ok, enough topic derailing with old stories...

Nah, he'd just shrug it off and walk away to get a stasis nap.

Then, several of the actors get in trouble.
Now, Optimus gets a ticket.
Barricade's getting revenge...

Easy one: No permits/registration.
(Sorry about the resurrection but wondered that myself at first and figured I'd throw that out there)
Edit: Also no license plate.
(Another) Edit: Don't parking tickets need a license plate number?
