I want this book, I want it bad. I don't speak or read Japanese. I want this book anyway, I do not know how to navigate the linked site and I certainly can't create a user profile for myself, does anyone have any idea, how I can get my hands on this book, does it even ship to the states? Real Devastor I'm looking at you for help, also, I've noticed of late you have been quite the detective on News worthy info, keep up the good work man.

Does anyone know if an offical Art or Concept book was released. As an artist I love concept books, I have the Concept book for Spiderman 3 and Batman Begins and Pirates OTC, Hellboy, movies that are visually stunning. I never found a concept book to the first Transformers film, only guide books. I'm hoping there is a concept book coming with combined artwork from both films if a book for the first was never published. Beyond that I've been making due trying to look up the artist and buying issues of Cinefex.

Laters,
Josh

You can try to book the book here.

(well, is in japanese #-o )

But now we have a problem here, the book only ship in Japan. Not overseas.

Second way, is check out the list of Japanese book shops here selling the book (with phone numbers):
http://www.toho-a-park.com/gekigen/ptf-revenge-bs.html

Can try to see the whether book shops can help to ship.

3rd way, is get someone from Japan to help....

I myself want it and cant get it.... Sigh thats life...

in that link Simon Furman responds to a few fan questions regarding the release of the book in his post he says:

Transformers: Art of the Movies book is awaiting various approvals and clearances, and so out of my/Titan’s hands right now. Everyone’s still hoping we can get it out for later this year, not least because it showcases some very fine art indeed, and Ben Procter donated his valuable time to make sure everyone got their due credit, but right now it’s a bit in limbo. As and when we know more, I’ll post news here. Thanks for your patience.

hope that helps

Thanks!

Sadly, from the news I'm hearing the book being in limbo looks as a bad sign. Hence why I'm guessing when I clicked on the first link it took me to the google product search engine instead of search results for the book; according to other people the book was up to purchase but was pulled and the book noted as cancelled. This happened with Steve Jablonsky and his music score as well. I never understood why all the CD's were pulled for the first music score and weren't even available for purchase directly. Even on his profile on Myspace, he pulled all his own music save for one score from The Island. I'm hoping this art book doesn't follow suit.

If there's anymore info, please keep me posted. Ben's art was fantastic from what I was able to view from his online portfolio....and what few matte painting I could search out were great as well, I'm eager to see anymore artwork if not all of it :P

Any idea where one could order this with an English-interactive menu is available. I dont mind not reading the book (as it looks to be mostly photo/art) but entering sensitive order information into fields I can't read is a bitch.
