First we got our three-pack, which includes the highlight of the set, Stinger.

Then we got our six Legends figures, which include Stinger.

Then we got our two-packs with Dinobots and Legends, featuring Stinger.

And then comes our Construct-Bots Strafe set, which has Stinger.

We feel these Walmart sets will offer a new experience (and did we mention Stinger?).

Just found the Evolution Optimus Prime set yesterday at the Woodfield area TRU, thanks to a local poster, char_leigh.

FWIW, I noticed a couple of QC faults with the Classics mold. The side panel in truck mode that flips down over the leg in robot mode has part of it painted red to match the cab. Mine was missing paint around the edges of the right side panel, so the blue showed through glaringly. Also, the left knee pad has a smudge in the silver paint. Lastly, the right shoulder is loose in the forward/backward rotation.

The only one of these issues that can be seen in in the box is the knee pad smudge, I don't think you can see the red face of that side panel in robot mode, but a little paint will fix that.

Livedoor isn't the name of the blog, it's the name of the blog service like Wordpress or Blogger. This is the FuRyu official blog. ;)

Proportions are really strange on this one. I ordered one off HLJ a while back, but now I think I'll cancel. Too bad, the Prime figure looks really good!

Okay, very impressive and all that, but his hands and face look really strange.

Yeah, he looks really awkward with two hands, but with the gun and battle mask the figure looks far better. I changed my mind about canceling my order, I think with paint he'll be a pretty solid figure. Plus I'm getting him for less than the cost of a Hasbro Deluxe so really don't have anything to loose.

Nice detail level... but I wish they could work out those proportions, like those legs :-?

We've received multiple sightings about a new Transformers: Age of Extinction exclusive set, this time from Target stores - the One-Step Collection, including Optimus Prime, Lockdown, Drift, the Dinobots Slug and Grimlock, and of course, Bumblebee. Seibertron.com users DISCHARGE, ScottyP and Bounti76 have all sent us sightings, from stores ranging from Utah to North Carolina, always priced at $49.99. Check out photo proof below, including the new Age of Extinction endcap.

Isn't that price rather steep? The only one-step changer that doesn't exist in a single pack is Slug..... so essentially we're paying a premium to get him. :-s

Slug will be available separately later. The only exclusive is that Silver Knight Optimus one.

Actually, if you figure that the One-Step changers are around $9-10 each, and you're also getting Slug before his individual release, PLUS an exclusive Silver Knight Optimus figure, it's a deal. Individually, they'd be around $54-60 total, plus there's the exclusive figure.

Fellow fan and collector, Blacklai, has posted a pictorial review of the soon to be released Autobots Unite figure boxset! The set consists of film accurate redecos of Deluxe Class figures Bumblebee, Crosshairs, Drift, plus Voyager Class figures Hound and (Evasion Mode) Optimus Prime. (The latter features a remolded head as well as a new G1-esque deco.)

Price and release date information has not been released as of yet, but as soon as we know, you will. Until then, let these pics whet your whistle.

These look really nice with all the little details painted in (taillights anyone?). But it really gets to me that alot of my main problems with their decos aren't fixed. Drift is still blue, not even dark blue or navy blue, just blue. And John Goodbot still has a black beard which makes him look like a pirate. I think it was silver in the movie. At any rate, considering what these will surely cost, I really wish they would have done some more obvious stuff.

Sorry to be another negative nancy, but...

Hooray, the OP repaint/remold everyone wanted in a likely cost-prohibitive set that no one will buy! :BANG_HEAD:

That said, these decos look really great compared to the originals. If I was collecting AoE and was lucky enough to have NOT already picked these characters up, this would be a must-buy.

Not really my problem because as usual, TrU hate Québec.

As I was seeing these pictures, I was "ooh-ing" and "aah-ing" at the incredible insight they had to bother painting the damn rear-lights! Appart that, not much differences to justify paying a premium.
Well, appart that Hound who is now totally Movie Bulkhead! :x
