Wonder what the story is on this one. Is he a clone? Another Black Body power up? A Transmetal? Or something more...

Nice

Put a new head on it and that's one bad ass Bludgeon figure.

The head reminds me of Motormaster.

Yuck. The original is much more tasteful.

Not too shabby. Might actually cave and get this version too. I love my blue one-much better then Convoy IMO.

Rumor has it that Optimus' Black body is actually a separate character: U-Nemesis Prime (the mammoth one). Purified spark, joined the force of good to atone, more ruthless than the original, yadda yadda yadda... Check the wiki.

And the Bludgeon analogy isn't too far off. Anybody remember Destructicon Bludgeon? ;)

I still need some pretty good convincing to order any Alternity figures. For some reason none of the figures look all too attractive.

That's why I complained that we got blue instead of green and yellow version.

I really digg this design, not as Megatron but as a new character and I mean an all new fresh character or something.
But as it stands these are a bit too pricey for me.

I know that. That's why I'm wondering about this one.
