Here's something information from last week that we overlooked that came from Keith at
www.NonStopToys.com:
Just wanted to drop a quick note for anyone interested, the official press release will be out some time next week on the Palisades website, but for all those wondering...
Originally slated for the OTFCC BotCon 05' convention as a exclusive, due to a scheduling conflict, The Palisades Transformers Bumblebee Mini Polystone Statue has landed as an Exclusive to www.NonStopToys.com. Being a collector of the line myself, i saw the Test Shot at the NY Javitz Toyfair and was severely dissappointed when i realized i would have to go on a mission to the OTFCC, and drop $60 to get the statue to complete my collection. As fate has it, we have now picked it up, slashed the price to $39.99 and anyone interested can pre-order it starting today. Produced in a Limited Edition of only 1000 pieces, Bumblebee will be character accurate in scale with the rest of the 6" polystone line, measuring in at 4" tall and standing on an autobot base.
Being one of the last four TF statues to come out from the G1 Pa lisades line, i am honored we could be involved before the line ended. Anyone interested can pick one up www.NonStopToys.com

On the board of
Palisades Toys, news of the current status of the Licence to produce their line came to light. It seems they will not produce Red Alert and Ravage, which many fans were looking forward to. The following has been taken from their
board.
"I spoke with Ken, and the basic deal is this: Palisades had room in the schedule for only one more statue before the license expires, so they decided on Devastator instead of Red Alert".
"I know there are going to be people that are upset to hear this...hell, I'm a little disappointed that I'm never going to get my Prowl. But to be honest, I can't really disagree with their choice".
"As for renewing the license in the future, well, as always, "Anything is Possible", but I wouldn't count on it happening right away. The Dreamwave designs were another big portion of the license, and with Dreamwave gone, they'll have to come at it another way, which could take some time, IF they decide to do it at all".

Although there is no official word from
Palisades yet,
Alter Ego Comics has put up an interesting item. According to them, Palisades will be releasing a
full-body Devastator statue that is more than 12 inches tall, keeping him roughly in scale with the previously released 6 inch tall statues.
Retail price is set at $169.99, with a 4th quarter 2005 ship date.

In
the Daily Bit Section of the
Palisades website, it has been revealed that the company has been toying with idea to also release Starscream's ghost version as statue in the line of Seeker statues.
The item reveals that they have a prototype of the ghostly statue, but at this time have not yet decided if they will or will not release this version, due to rather high costs of producing the figure. The item does show a picture of the prototype.

Palisades Toys has denied on their
board that there is any truth behind a rumor that the company, which has been releasing several Transformers statues, has cancelled their Transformers line.
"The line is not cancelled. Anyone who said anything to the contrary was telling a bad joke, and should consider themselves warned. Poking at hornet's nests like that is not a good idea".
