The rumors about Computron said that he'd get new hand and foot pieces but nothing was said regarding Liokaisers extremities. I'm leaning more towards Liokaiser though, mostly because I want to believe it's really happening.

Agreed on the figure. it's most likely just the Brawl figure with an uncolored drill piece instead of the cannon pipe. The Autobot logo will most likely replace the Decepticon one in the actual release. I do have to wonder what is in store for Afterburner since Hasbro has not used Takara's Groove mold and doing so is likely to ruffle the feathers of the fandom.

Word on the street is they're using Takara's groove for afterburner and they'll also be using it in the eventual g2 Defensor set. But I personally believe that they'll release the standard groove mold as an online exclusive ala slingshot and wildrider.
Shuttershock wrote:This lends credence to Computron being a boxed set, given the dedicated foot seen here.

I never bought rook due to my heardheadedness that it would happen one day, and i still hope it does.

We know that Canadian and US TRUs have different warehouses and sometimes even don't stock the same stuff, so you should really put "Canadian retail" instead of "North American" retail in the news story. I've also seen stuff turn up in Mexico and you don't call those news stories "North American retail."
Mexico is Central America....
I'm looking forward to this release, had ummed and ahhed for a while, but decided to get this and Menasor for my NeoG2 collection.
Decepticon Sunstorm wrote:It can't be Liokaiser, as you can tell that the upper leg is an arm of the Silverbolt mold, and the rumored Liokaiser is supposed to have Sky Lynx retooled into Deathsaurus as the torso. As such, the most likely explaination is that this is a picture with the new pieces put on old figures just to see how they look or something.

My brain! My lovely beautiful brain!!! But is it a proper 6 man team, or will they exclude Jaruga in favour of making Leozak a voyager torso?
Yeah, I thought it was Silverbolt as well, but look closely at the connection port. There is a hook claw thing on a hinge at either side of the cconnection port. That's not on Silverbolt.
