Transformers News: New Image of Transformers War for Cybertron Kingdom Wave 1 Deluxes, Voyagers and Leaders

In the first image you can see the first wave of Kingdom Deluxes (Blackarachnia, Warpath, Paleotrex and Cheetor) and of the Leaders (Beast Wars Megatron and Optimus Prime, who is a repack of Earthrise Leader Class Optimus Prime). This is our first look at the repack Optimus, now in Kingdom packaging and, like all the other Kingdom releases, sporting a Golden Disk card.

At least Prime's legs aren't split like in the Earthrise packaging. I find the different thickness of cardboard funny, it's to adjust the height of the figures in the packaging.

Definitely Bigger than than WFC "Voyagers with Parts" Leaders we've had so far, but probably not as big as a CW or TR Leader, (probably because of more complex transformation and higher parts count) still I'd like to see the comparison when they are available

Megs looks small to me, just a head taller than earthrise optimus making him smaller than siege magnus. When an idea of size is needed trust Primevsprime to be reviewing a nonstolen figure and Tonton reviewing alphabetblock dinos...
Looks like T30 Rhinox will be too big to go with Kingdom Megs.

Primes head position with the art on the box will look like the g1 cab with the head left out :P

Beast Megatron is way taller than "a head" more than Leader G1 Optimus Prime. Your worries are unfounded.

The image of him is squished vertically.

I'm honestly kind of baffled by the decision to re-release ER Prime in Kingdom. He has had two full waves in Earthrise already. There have been Primes clogging my local Walmart shelves for weeks. It's a really weird choice, especially considering there is a Core class Optimus coming in the same wave.

Hasbro mandate of a Leader OP in every line.

I had heard something about that, but was never able to verify. If that's indeed the case, there is no reason they couldn't have recolored it or something. Anything to set it apart from an already widely available figure would be appreciated. As it stands now, this toy is gearing up to become the next Siege Shockwave.

Well I'm not certain it was an actual corporate mandate or branding philosophy or what, but I believe Warden or someone else high up on the design team said basically they want to work in a leader OP in every line.

Pair that with having one in every line since TR, and well, pretty obvious.

Wait, maybe it is so that they can counter all the Siege Megatrons and soon to be Earthrise Megatrons also shelf warming.

Which is good, since SIEGE and ER Optimus are undersize.

I'll be interested to see how he compares to the original BW Ultra Smugsaurus size-wise. And to Robot Masters BW Megs engineering-wise.

He's also on the way in the Netflix line, albeit without a trailer.

I wonder, since we've gotten Cliffy, we're getting Warpath and Bee, will the rest of the Minibots get the deluxe treatment? I have them all in legends scale, and Cliffy from ER, so I'm debating picking up Warpath.

I disagree, I find those Optimus to be the near perfect height, Prime has hardly been a giant in his normal form, his flat-nose truck mode is always small.

That cover is legendary in it's overthetopness.
Got a print signed by Shooter in the 2019 Montreal Comiccon.

But seriously, appart from when Optimus go super mode, he was never a giant.
