Well Scattershot looks a lot like his G1 self, in a sense like how MM looks like his G1 self... They've been updated, and just like with MM, or Firefly, or Mixmaster we'll all learn to live with it. I'm sure with a new combined mode head, and an actual paint scheme you could warm up to an actual scattershot

Agreed. I think Scattershot is what he is: an alternative to half-empty Onslaught cases.

If (and I think that’s still a big “if”) we get a full team, I’m thinking this can go two ways:

1) A wave of deluxe Technobots (and accompanying legend figure). However, that would be so far down the line that that Scattershot would get a second wave. If so, he might get an updated version, as with red/white Prime and the expected silver/green Onslaught.
2) Box set. I personally think that this is the most likely, since Titans Returns will probably tie up the deluxe and voyager wave assortments. The Scattershot would definitely get updated in that case.

Either way, we wouldn’t see any new Scattershot until Titans Returns is underway, so I have a pretty heavy suspicion why no one bothered to give the current torso a new Computron head...

But then again I'm trying to cut back for personal sanity's sake (and other sakes), so this is less "everything sucks" and more "oh hey I can do without this".

Also, my two cents, I'd guess we'd get a remold of Legends Shockwave as Strafe.

My guess is if they do release Technobots, this'll be the format:

Silverbolt into Scattershot
Shockwave/new mold into Strafe
Brawl into Nosecone
Dragstrip/Wheeljack into Lightspeed
Takara Groove into Afterburner

He's talking about the original red prime and battle core optimus and the silver chested onslaught and the olive green one coming out with sky lynx. And if they do the shockwave remold who will be the other limb? You're missing the fourth limb.

He listed 5 members plus Shockwave as Strafe, so there are actually 6 members listed.

Ah, I didn't know about the running change with Onslaught. And I was just leaving for a ski lesson when typing that list, I forgot to put in the sixth character/limb!

I had my eyes on Scattershot this weekend and this reminded me of something I noticed. This is probably not news, and I think it has have been discussed previously, but may lend some credence to a Scattershot redeco.

On the box it listed his combined form was Betatron and his limbs were BCP's Autobot team. I didn't read the bio to see if there was some reason for the match up like there was for Cyclonus/Galvatronus. Maybe they will tie the name into some type of beta test for the real deal Computron?
