Takara Tomy Previews New MPG Use of Inferno Mold, Possibly as Hauler

BTW, other sites are saying it's definitely Hauler, but there's nothing on the tweet that indicates that's definitely true since no name was listed. He also isn't a straight up Grapple repaint, which would have been easy, and whatever is going on with the back of the truck. It's a little too inconsistent with Hauler to agree it's definitely him. Plus the hydraulic stabilizers on the back of his head are really throwing me off!

God Bomber is shipping (got the standard one from Amazon Japan). So is ML Sunstreaker and Cordon. Oof. Good thing I had the MLs paid for and it looks like they're all coming in quite a bit cheaper. Now I have to wait for BBTS to ship the prototype version of God Bomber, they're saying July, but that feels optimistic.

Is that an MP version of Earthrise Optimus?? He even seems to have 5mm peg holes on his arms and Siege Prime's axe! This is pretty crazy. OK, so it's not really Earthrise Prime, it's a new reimagining for I guess a new "Style Generation" sub line of more articulated and complex figures at the smaller size, but it's interesting to see that some nods to War for Cybertron Trilogy in there.

I really like the concept of the new style series to make them more easily transformable, if I read the meaning of it right. I'm drawn to the new studio series as I'd like some to sit on my desk I can just transform without having to refer to the manual if I forget, so I hope these will be more like that. I've never actually transformed MP Megatron because it sounds like such a mission

Got my godbomber in, filmed an unboxing. While I was fiddling with it, his left shoulder started to break. Its the post that connects to the butterfly joint. The spring/ratchet in the shoulder , the in and out motion one, is so tight that trying to manipulate it started tearing the post its attached to (the one connected to the butterfly hinge) off. giving me big mp1 prime's exploding knees vibes. I took the shoulders apart. The springs inside were huge and very strong. too big and strong imho. I put some glue in the left post, and put some shock oil into the ratchets. This made them a little better, and I don't feel like the right one will break now. However it is just a matter of time before the left one shears off. I will go over it in more detail once I post my full review.

I would advise not using or trying to use the in and out joint at the shoulder, instead using the in and out from the butterfly/transformation joint. the shoulder is so tight it will naturally move that panel anyway. Unless you do like I did and take the shoulder apart and either use silicone oil/grease or replace the spring with a less chunky one.

Tomy/Takara has provided a first "silhouette" image of the next installment of the MPG line. This time it looks like they are re-addressing the "superior" Decepticon Soundwave. The image is showing Soundwave partnered with a bird cassette, which would lead to the assumption of Lazerbeak being part of the package. No additional information is known at this time, so only speculation exists if this is a new mold, or how many cassettes will be included--- since the X posted image is shadowed, one could even argue if the bird is Lazerbeak or Buzzsaw!
