It appears that someone at the Masterpiece factory misplaced their lunch and accidentally brought home a copy of the upcoming TakaraTomy Transformers Masterpiece MP-28 Hotrod instead of his Lunchables. Seibertronian Cyberpath has shared with us a pic of Hotrod stuffed in a sandwich bag with his accessories. Unfortunately that's all we get to see for now, but hopefully this means there are more to come. Until then, stay tuned to Seibertron.com: home for the best Galleries and Conversation around!

Looks like pictures of Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece MP-28 HotRod has been popping up all over the place on the internet over in Asia and this time Thanks to Runaway clouds on Baidu, we get our first look at MP Hot Rod's Packaging as well as another image of Hot Rod's underside in his Alt mode. Due to be release in late February of this year MP-28 will be in the hands of collectors very soon. Check out the images below and let us know how exited (or not) you are to add him to your Masterpiece collection!

Maybe the clear plastic for the windshield is just part of a production sample? It looks bluer and more opaque on the box itself.

You dont mind the screws diggin into his wrists? I am having quite a bit of trouble with that now that I see these in hand images. Takara usually uses coloured screws to make them as innocuous as possible so I am really surprised this was the best they could do, for an MP.

I suspect that these photos don't do the final product justice (also: mistransformed arms) -- but we get a size comparison with MP-9 & MP-26, and he is about Prowl size!

I dont think its that bad. But this doesnt look like the MP line I know where every figure felt like something essential you would be missing out of.
