TFYuki via Twitter gives us a new look at the recently revealed Transformers Legends LG19 Springer. This release has a deco that is closer to the animation model than Takara's last Springer. Look at the image below and let us know in the Energon Pub if this deco is worth double dipping on Springer.

my only comment is that at least if someone hadnt already got this version of Springer they have another opportunity. otherwise, im not too impressed.

I was gonna mention that. In Japan, toys dont get restocked often and if you miss on an opportunity when its released, you might not see it again. So this totally helps Japanese fans who didnt get a chance to get this incredible mold yet, and they no longer need to spend the bigger bucks importing the american version (it is more expensive to ship from US to Japan than from Japan to US). Takara has been doing this quite a bit lately and I am quite thankful for it. I wish hasbro could just release Prime Breakdown in some different deco just to get the mold out in retail.

Man, all they had to do was take a vacation here when he was out. He was everywhere for a whole year, or more, I swear >:oP

I just figured it out! This Springer is such a loud color because he knows he is another redeco and he wants to sell, so he is making himself as noticeable as possible!!

I think the picture taken is to blame. Everything looks over-saturated in that take. The original solicitations showed much more mellow light and dark greens, and much paler olive-gray for the face, hands, and thighs. Takara usually does NOT get their colors wrong, so I'm not panicking just yet over one picture.

Screw all that hate, I like it. I never liked the yellow chest on the other versions. While it is a bit brighter than expected, its cool to finally get a real G1 deco.

Please define the term "G1" in reference to color schemes...

Are we taking about G1 cartoons, G1 comics, or G1 toys ?

Its all G1 dude...

But in my opinion the "G1" cartoon colors flat out look better. And Takara seems to agree this time around....
