The filming is set to include a crew of 50 or 60 people, which is larger than the crew currently in Scotland, but none of the Actors themselves are set to appear yet. After Norway, the next stop for filming will be back west, to London, England! It's interesting how the filming has had such a specific focus on London.
The filming in Norway will take place anytime after October 2nd, so be sure to watch Seibertron.com for updates and set photos!
What do you think they're going to film in Norway? Other Transformers fans have noted that you're able to see the northern lights very often in Norway...Will that play into the movie in any way? What actors do you think will be appearing? What about Sir Anthony Hopkins? He joined the cast a while ago, but has yet to make an appearance on set (as far as we know). Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
And, as always, keep your optics and audio sensors tuned to Seibertron.com for all the latest Transformers New and Reviews!

Lots of people will try to criticize Mr. Bay, and in the end, they will end up using his technology/ideas...
I respect his job, always out of the box!

Caught wind of this just now:
http://mashable.com/2016/08/29/transfor ... EpwLOSmaqu
Can't believe they are doing the King Arthur thing actually and in talks to cast someone that played the role in something entirely unrelated. I hope it doesn't suck. Likely it'll be controversial for the fandom though.

As long as this Arthur isn't anything like that twatwaffle Arthur he played on OUAT.

I honestly haven't even watched OUAT mostly due to the fact I've been binging on Arrow, The Flash, and Transformers Animated (which I'm super glad I gave it another chance as suggested) as of late. I keep putting it off, but I probably should hop on it. Twatwaffle is also a creative insult. I'll have to add that to my repertoire.

With the King Arthur age and his knights clearly showing up in the upcoming Transformers: The Last Knight movie, we bring to you exciting news that Liam Garrigan, the actor who portrays King Arthur in Once Upon a Time is currently in talks to play the same character for the upcoming Transformers movie! While Paramount has not responded to requests for comment, it appears that King Arthur is firmly in play and that Garrigan may very well portray 2 Kings in his life. Check out the full news story HERE.

Is this like adapted from that time travel episode in G1?

That's actually what I was wondering when I came across the article in the first place. A lot of the Bayformers films are inspired by a few G1 episodes too in terms of basic plot outlines, so it's not too much of a surprise to me they're doing another that's based on something previously.

Michael Bay is an incredible director. The bar wasn't set very high with the first movie, and he manages to limbo under it with each subsequent film.

It's also possible that, instead of any time travel, all the Arthurian scenes take place entirely in flashbacks. Maybe a reasonable amount of the film is set in the past the natural way.

I'm going to guess this as the most likely scenario all the films in the first 2/5 minutes have a flash back to a long time ago.

And it's about time. Because when I first heard Bay watched every episode of the G1 cartoon, but nothing about comics, I asked myself, if I was able to recommend just one comic story to him to research, what would it be? Man of Iron, no question. It may not have contributed anything enduring to the mythos (partly because it's an awkward fit in Marvel continuity), but it always felt more like the comic adaptation of a British TF movie that didn't quite get made in 1985. Well, now that movie will actually sort of exist, and I can't complain about that.
It was also the first story to play with the 4-million-year gap, and considering all 4 Bay films have done some variation on that to try and ground the story's stakes in Earth history, it's just a natural fit.
And if he leaves Lancelot and the round table out of the story (as they surely won't have time to stop off in France), TF:TLK will be a tad more historically accurate than most movies involving King Arthur, FWIW.

Which would mean it draws just as much inspiration from the first TF UK comic arc, "Man of Iron", as "A Decepticon Raider In King Arthur's Court".Sabrblade wrote:It's also possible that, instead of any time travel, all the Arthurian scenes take place entirely in flashbacks. Most likely flashbacks, I can't see time travel being worked realistically into the film.
And Graham Chapman is the best King Arthur.

The first thing I thought of when I heard of King Arthur in a Transformers movie was a fight between Optimus and Megatron ending with "Alright, we'll call it a draw."
Also, have you guys seen this?

It's pretty interesting, but I do disagree with the "unwatchable" comment.

When we newsed the rumour about Liam Garrigan being in talks for a role in Transformers: The Last Knight - possible as King Arthur - we almost missed another sneaky rumour in the same Mashable.com piece, concerning cast member Santiago Cabrera. You'll remember when he was announced that we made sure to point out his acting history, and it looks like his past experience may be coming back to haunt him: according to the site, he will be playing none other than Merlin.
This leaves us a number of options: Merlin travels through time; Merlin reincarnates; this rumour is entirely unfounded; there is a mistake on Mashable; it's just a guy named Merlin. Let us know what you make of it in the Energon Pub!

Mark Wahlberg stars alongside Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Isabela Moner, Laura Haddock, Jerrod Carmichael, Gil Birmingham and Anthony Hopkins. Santiago Cabrera will co-star as Merlin, and many of your favorite Autobots and Decepticons will return as well.

In further Transformers: The Last Knight news, we have a new behind the scenes clip from the official Transformers movie Facebook page - as notified by Seibertronian overlord Burn - featuring the 'street kids' that we've seen accompany Isabela Moner, play around with director Michael Bay, and talking about getting chased by a Transformers. Check it out embedded below!

This movie's just getting weird. Like, they're building on the past film's rather inexplicable mention of Knights, but instead of that being about alien robots it's now literally King Arthur (because the G1 cartoon did something like that so it's automatically justified? and/or they gotta work in the whole "ancient thing on Earth is TRANSFORMERS related" plot again), with dragons and human wizards and everything. But there's still police car and crane robots somehow?
