Transformers Bumblebee Movie Japanese Trailer and Poster #BumblebeeMovie

In Transformers Bumblebee Movie news this week, we have voice of the same trailer that Anglophone audiences worldwide had already seen (check it out again here), but this time in the official Japanese dub - and the same poster featuring the Cybertronian and Charlie Watson, with the Japanese movie title, also just 'Bumblebee'.

The one piece of added news to the story is the release date for the movie, which will be in Spring 2019 rather than the mostly Western release of December 2018. Check it all out below, and follow the official Japanese site for more information as they update.

Fellow Seibertronian What's Crackin sent us a notification of what appears to be a new poster for the upcoming Transformers Bumblebee Movie, due in cinemas / movie theatres this December 2018. Sourcing it to the UIP Philippines Facebook page and confirmed by others too, the image shows Charlie Watson (Hailee Steinfeld) looking up to Bumblebee, who is squatting down to be closer, while both are overlooking the Californian city night lights in the background.

This is not on the same level as previous Paramount ventures with digital image manipulation, but there are still elements of ..not very good work happening, between the stars and the logo positioning and font work. Nonetheless, take a look below!

Thanks to a news notification from fellow Seibertronian EvasionModeBumblebee, we have a new image from the upcoming Transformers Bumblebee Movie, featuring the titular character himself as he sits quite uncomfortably on a couch!

The image, which is also part of the footage that was shown during the San Diego Comic Con panel, is part of a light-hearted scene where Bumblebee is trying to be gentle and careful in making himself at home in Charlie Watson (Hailee Steinfeld)'s house - and clearly not doing his best job of it. Think the garden scene with the Autobots in the 2007 movie, but ..you know, done well.

Also in Bumblebee movie news, a new still has appeared courtesy of an old source (YouTube user laszlo ven), showing Dropkick and Shatter in their muscle car modes - confirming that in the previously seen shot director Travis Knight was indeed leaning on one of the Decepticons in the movie. Check it out below, and join the buzz!

"Think of the garden scenen but you know done well"

Gee Va'al, but I can't think it'd be easy for FIVE big robots (and in different sizes no less) that CLEARLY tower over every house in the average neighborhood, to make themseves comfortable in a single house, inside or out.

I was very tongue in cheek, but I also honestly do think that there is a clear parallel between the two scenes and while with the 2007 version gave me second hand embarrassment, the Bumblebee one made me giggle. :D

As much as I enjoy the first movie, the part that makes me roll my eyes at the most in that scene is the 'blown transformer' part when Sams dad is surveying the damage.

Over on online retailer Amazon.com, we have three new listings for Transformers Bumblebee Movie related products, and we're looking at a younger audience still with the Junior Novel (in both book and audio book formats) plus a Transformers: Bumblebee Reader!

The latter in particular is a level 2 passport to reading young book, and sports the title A Car for Charlie - meaning you can have the minibots in your life get ready for the movie, if you choose to share it with them, read up on the story before heading to the cinema (as the book is out in November, which also means it may contain spoilers for the movie itself!). Check out the listings below.

I'm CONFUSED about his car door wings in robot mode. Do they exist or not? They're not visible in the movie footage I've seen so far and he's even shown from the rear with no sign of them at all yet they appear on art like on that book and on the large Bee statue thingy at conventions and such and are on the toys. I'm usually against noticable kibble but I'm so used to seeing them on movie Bee that I find him a bit plain when they ain't there. Also that book cover art oddly looks like a person in a suit... especially with how big the head looks. :P

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly Online we have a new screencap from the upcoming film, Bumblebee: The Movie. In this scene you can see Charlie (Played by actress Hailee Steinfeld) and Bumblebee. It looks as if she is comforting him which tells us a great deal about how different the mood of this film will be compared to the previous live action flicks. If you can remember from the movie trailer Bee looked pretty freaked out about landing on Earth. Of course this is just a speculation on what is happening. We will find out when this movie hits theaters on December 21, 2018.

So Charlie being comforting to Bee makes the movie automatically different from the other movies. I guess that means Infimity War having death automatically makes it more different than all the rest of the otherwise similarly made MCU films (except for Phase 1)

go hate on the movie (that hasn't even released) somewhere else.

Well... yeah?

...Still yep. (Not the presence of death per se, but the fact that half the cast gets killed off at the end of the movie (is that still a spoiler?) makes it tonally different than other MCU films, on the whole.)

Things like death (in a franchise that avoids it much of the time), or characters expressing kindness, or in fact any genuine emotion whatsoever, can and will drastically change a movie's tone compared to generic kill-the-bad-guys-we're-so-cool action stuff. Doesn't mean the action stuff is bad, just that this is different, whether you personally think so or not.

I think the bad guy winning definitely makes Infinity War far different than any other Marvek film. Thanks for that great comparison, it means this TF film will indeed be different than the rest.

The bad guy did kinda win in Civil War too. He was taken into custody, but his goal was met.
