Thanks to a tip from fellow Seibertron.com user Ravage XK, it appears that the animated series Transformers: Rescue Bots can now be viewed from the UK, and for free! See below for what they have to say about their discovery, and tune in to entertain the younger ones - or yourself.

I just retuned my Feeview TV and noticed that a channel called POP (+1) has appeared and while scanning the listing noticed that Transformers Rescue Bots is on at 9:30 am until 10:00am
and again at 4pm until 4:30 pm and then again at 6:30pm until 7pm.

More Bots. More News. More Awesome.

To be fair Pop has been showing it since January time, but back then the channel was only available in the UK to Sky and Freesat customers (not sure about Virgin). It's sister channel Kix also airs Transformers Cybertron. Not sure if that channel is on freeview or if it's only on Sky/Freesat.

Kix isn't of Freeview..

I just tried to watch POP on Freeview and it's not running just yet, says coming soon. Wish I had checked last night.

Okay, aside from the first video (which Lockdownhunter pointed out as not being new), none of this is for season 3, so it feels very disingenuous to refer to it as such.

The first video is the teaser for season 3 we already saw before.

The second and fourth videos are fake movie-style trailers done for fun that use footage from season 1 and 2 episodes.

And the third video is a music video for the "Ready to Roll" insert song Clint Black performed in season 2's 13th episode, and is also made from recycled season 1 and 2 footage.

So really, there is no season 3 news here. :-|

The YouTube channel lists them all as new (posted on 15th OCtober) - I was unable to check our own news feed to compare previous posts. Apologies for the misnaming and misleading, entirely unintentional!

What I would ask, though, is for users to point out this type of news error either via PM or email to the author of the post (rather than in the thread), so we are able to change the news as quickly as possible to ensure it's correct.

Yeah, it's only the first one that isn't new, but it is new to the YouTube channel that posted it (I guess it was Hasbro Studios' YouTube channel that posted it before).

The other three are new, but are put together from season 1-2 stuff just for fun rather than for season 3. And it was pretty cool to hear the full version of "Ready to Roll".

SEASON 3 NEWS!!!

Season 3 will debut on Discovery Family on November 1, 2014, with two episodes!

Episode 53 (season 3, episode 1) is called "Land Before Prime", and episode 54 (S3, E2) is called "Big Game", and both star Optimus Prime acquiring his T-Rex altmode.

As an aside, though, there are still no signs of either of the two skipped episodes from season 2 ("The Riders of Midwinter" and "Chief Woodrow").

The wait for Transformers: Rescue Bots season 3 is almost over. According to Zap2it.com, season 3 will premiere on Saturday November 1 with two new episodes on the newly rebranded Discovery Family. The fun starts at 1:00 p.m. EDT. To get ready for the new season, enjoy the previously seen Rescue Bots season 3 teaser trailer.

Zap2it has also provided names and descriptions for the two new episodes.

Episode 1: Land Before Prime - After discovering an island of dinosaurs, Optimus must embrace his primal side.

Episode 2: Big Game- Optimus Prime's new Dinosaur Mode becomes the target of a big game hunter.

I think I will wait for RID season 1 next year.Not really interested in t-rex mode optimus especially after watching TF4.A t-rex mode suits neither optimus prime nor optimus primal

Oh,by the way,are the rescue bots triple changes?If so, ignore my previous statement.I might look forward to it if prime/primal transforms into both T-rex and truck modes.If not,then another TV show down the drain.

it seems so. but i wish there would be deceptions vs rescue bots to make it more enjoyable for the older demographic. like bots helping a townsfolk and stopping crime. boring I-)

. but i never have seen optimus transform into a dinobot, unlike his nemesis, megaton who was a dinosaur in 1996 in beast wars. but optimus's Dino mode is a Hodge-Podge at best for some reason to me. look closely and you will see what i mean. :SICK:

Thanks!!!!I strongly agree that optimus should have kept his truck mode only.A triple changer sounds cool but looks like they have gone too far

exactly. i read about what you said in the forums that you said that there should be TRUKK NOT T-REX and i had a good laugh indeed!

thank you for spotting the horrendous Hodge podge in optimus prime's t-Rex mode.

but......
i found a reference in one of the 2 new episodes. when prime has his t-Rex mode, he becomes a prime hunting target. it relates the time when in the 1980s, the episode 'prime target', optimus is hunted down by a rich British hunter for his head, his head!! anyways, the Hodge podge syndrome has spread to the others and even bumblebee who transforms into a Dino i cant seem to understand.

Anyway,yes,OP was hunted by lord Chumley in that episode.By the way,what happened to the rescan upgrades?(The monster truck OP and Motorcycle BB) Will they appear in the show?
