I've seen a ton of avoids happening before on occasion, this isn't really any different.

Ooh that's embarrassing, one of my mechs is in there and he scored zero. (he's at the bottom of my team not the top I promise they're not all that bad!)

As for the avoid thing, give that guy higher endurance and better armor, and you're golden!

Actually, avoid isn’t all that uncommon. And it really shows up here because you are fighting against characters without tactics…since characters can only avoid weapon/punch/kick attacks, and every attack instead of about half of attacks in a normal mission are this type, you are likely to see significantly more avoids in this type of mission.
