No, adding additional weapons adds additional transactions that the sql server needs to track so it is not done very often. Keep an eye on the boards and the weapons shop sometimes people will sell off their old x-rays and null rays.

Maybe you should sell the dol-laser rifles you don't think you're going to use on to other members of your side, for the benefit of the greater good? Er.. unless you're a Decepticon, in which case y'all just keep sitting on them ;;)
