I have searched this site and have found absolutely NO instructions as to how to join a mission or actually play the game. All I find is people talking about weapons and upgrades and I can't seem to even get in at all. What gives? I created a transformer. I activated it. I selected a mission, clicked the join button, and waited for the mission to begin. But I never got in. The mission just began without me. I have searched through all kinds of FAQs and supposed guides for noobs and have not once found any instructions to help me, nor have I found any description of the controls for if I DO figure out how to get in. Is there anyone who can help me?

That's all there is to the game. The mission result are decided by an Random Number Generator and will be available to you when it's over. No animated scenes, no controls, no flashy lights. That's it. But remember, it's a free game made and maintained by unpaid guys on a web forum, there's only so much OS can be expected to do.

On the mission select screen, each mission has small circles next to the names of your active transformers. When you click on these circles they fill to indicate which transformer is selected. At the bottom of the page is a "Join Selected Missions" button. Click on that, and you should get a message saying "[Your transformer] has entered the mission [mission name]".

You do not control the Transformers within the missions. The missions are automated scripts influenced by the Random Number Generator and the stats of the participants.

Ok I just tried "Ambush the Judge" and I got a message that says: "Lord of Darkness has joined Ambush the Judge."

I also got a message that states: "There are currently no missions which you can accept."

Is that normal?

"There are currently no missions which you can accept." Usually means one of two things:

1) All your active bots are either in a mission or the arena (even if waiting) or
2) There are no open missions but you have active bots available, in which case you'll also recieve message saying "Added a new mission." Refresh the page and a new mission will be available if this is the case.

It's like you are the general and you send them off to fight then get the battle reports. It's very easy to play while doing other things and also at work (but only on break and lunchtimes because otherwise that would be wrong :wink:

)

I'm at college so I go on the computers to look at transformers stuff when i'm ment to be reserching (I study animal management).The tutor came over when I had the Predacons on the screen so I told her I was looking at the difference between real animals and mechanical animals (I had to think fast and that came into my head first) and she fell for it. he he! :grin:

I thought this thing long since died. Sadly, I only got one L3 now but may have another depending on when I reformat someone again. BTW, have you officially declared you are joining the Maximals, Wingspan? They are going to be in 2.0 whenever that rolls around. If you haven't and are interested, let me know since I'm one of the Mods.

Good question. I'm undecided, but favoring Autobots. The goodness of G1 characters smashing each other is just so appealing. Although that may still change.

I'll PM if I sway to the "fuzzy side."

I missed this before but nah I've currently still in the same job I've had for 3 years - I have recently become a dad but otherwise I'm looking for a new job as I'm being made redundant on 9th Nov, hopefully one that'll let me play HMW :grin:
