Looks like the second link is just redirecting back to the mod panel.

I'm getting lots of slowness and 502 Bad Gateway errors too. I also got a 404 error every time I tried using the main and "First unread" links to go to this post; I had to use the direct link instead. So it seems like the "First unread" thing is acting up as well.Sabrblade wrote:The site is being a bit slow today, with some pages either taking much longer to load than normal, while others just don't load and instead lead to "502 Bad Gateway" warnings, forcing me to reload them.
No Kreemzeeking, at least, so it isn't that.
EDIT: I literally just got a "502 Bad Gateway" warning while trying to make this very post.

And only on my laptop, too. It got so bad I had to switch to my phone in order to confirm if my post went through or not (it did, thankfully, despite the Kremzeeking).

Which post specifically were you trying to quote? Maybe the post had a special character in it that the server didn't like. Everything seems good on my end with the server at the moment.

Yeah, yesterday evening, there was a period where I couldn't even go to the site at all for at least an hour.Seibertron wrote:Thanks for letting me know. Looks like the DB server is running a very high load avergage. I cleared out a few database tables and rebooted the DB server. Monitoring it. Load average went down from 48 to 24 but still very high.

I've been having to login each time I come to visit the site for the first time each day, despite having not logged out at any point prior and having had the "Keep me signed in" checkbox checked each time. I just now had to login again in order to make this post.
Of note, it's mostly happened on my laptop rather than on my phone. I think it's happened only once on my phone, while the other times were all on my laptop.

I keep getting really slow page loads - especially on the forums - plus Kremzeeks and upstream server errors referencing the database connection that don't even make it to the Kremzeek page. I don't know if it's just the times I happen to be on, but haven't really been able to correlate to any particular times of day atm (though early afternoon GMT is often pretty bad).
Just now it kept crashing for me. Took me forever to reach this page.Emerje wrote:Glyph wrote:Anyone else having a lot of trouble with the site lately - last week or so?

Yeah, it was really sluggish for a few days last week for me, and then barely useable over the weekend. Seems better now.![]()
