His transformation is real finnicky, and the area with the roof and arms is a pain to tab in, I was actually afraid to break him when I had to force it. And the can mode is pretty patchy in alt mode.
I don't enjoy him very much, I was hoping he'd be better so I'd be excited for Ratchet. But as is, He's just not that good. I still like the siege one far more. I think i'll be getting rid of this one unless my opinion changes in a day or 2.

FINE!!! 1 earth and 1 cybertronian version per character and that is it!*
*Subject to later and related continuities loopholes, i.e. Legends Ginrai can stay but TR PMOP got sold off.
So for me Siege stays and SS86 boots ER to the ebay pile.

Yep.-Kanrabat- wrote:I thought maybe the van was all red with no stripe in the toon so thats why Hasbro didn't painted it but...
I guess the complex transformation engineering ate up so much of the budget that there wasn't enough left for yellow paint.-Kanrabat- wrote:So I wonder why the line is molded, but unpainted?

I think Sabrblade was being a bit cheeky with that comment.-Kanrabat- wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I guess the complex transformation engineering ate up so much of the budget that there wasn't enough left for yellow paint.
I call bull because we already have a deluxe for the price of a voyager. I call that someone, somewhere, done goofed up. Maybe a reissue in the Buzzworthy line will have it fixed?

But seriously, I also think it was an oversight in the design phase, as opposed to a manufacturing misstep. Regardless, Ironhide looks better with the stripe, but would Reprolabels give us just a set of 2 stripes? Would that even be worth the material?
IIRC, there is a rumor of G2 Grimlock coming later in whatever subline succeeds the Velocitron one in 2024.Nemesis Destron wrote:I'm not sure if this wish was already posted but man a repaint of Grimlock G2 Blue would be epic, since the figure is a part of the Super7 line...c'mon![]()

FWIW recent leaks are suggesting "Universe". Again

Well, we know Hasbro aren't bothered by reusing names

Could be "Unity" or something else, all we know is it begins with the letters UNI.
We also don't know that that G2 Grim will be the blue one for certain, it could be the unreleased one with the tiger stripes for all we know.
UNI is the 2024 Legacy subtitle, like how next year is Evolution, it technically isn't replacing anything. That's why the retail figures in that recent leak all said Legacy UNI, but Grim just said Legacy Capsule. We know from listings that G2 Grim is part of a capsule that contains 1 other Leader, 1 Voyager, 4 Deluxes, and 1 Deluxe repack, we just don't know the name/theme of the capsule or where it's exclusive to. It should be out before the 2024 stuff though, since the first listing for Grim was found alongside 2023 Legacy stuff, it just wasn't labeled as G2 Grim yet.Emerje wrote:Nemesis Primal wrote:ZeroWolf wrote:RotorstormNZ wrote:Sabrblade wrote:IIRC, there is a rumor of G2 Grimlock coming later in whatever subline succeeds the Velocitron one in 2024.

Sabr said the line that succeeds Velocitron, not Legacy, that's what "UNI" is replacing (for now, we know how Hasbro is with their name changing whims). Also the G2 Grimlock rumor wasn't attached to any specific capsule, Walmart exclusive just seems like the most likely.

Poor phrasing on my part, I meant to say UNI is replacing Evolution, it definitely isn't replacing Velocitron like RotorstormNZ said.
